Great game for Ryan. QB rating is 117.3 right now.

Hopefully we can take this momentum in the N.O game.

If not for that one run our defense played incredibly. Matt Ryan looking good, the running game tearing it up.. lots of good signs. Like DK said, hopefully we bring the same performance against New Orleans next week.

Today the falcons showed what they are capable off. Now, they have a season to play.

His true test is in games like Sunday, but I was very happy with the play of Dunta yesterday. He's not Revis, but he looked damned good out there.

O-line looks like it'll be a major need this offseason. I would argue LT looks like the #1 issue because you don't want to mess around with that position when you have a young franchise QB.

sam baker looked bad and lost out there. three straight penalties at home?! those will kill us in a game against the saints. i can't imagine him going up against a top DE on the road with a hostile crowd. i understand the pick of sam baker when we drafted him but he's not the answer at LT. TD needs to realize this, cut his losses, and get a new one. unfortunately, it seems there aren't many, if any, stellar LT types for this year's draft or next year's draft.
i wouldn't mind a run at jared gaither but i don't see it happening.

Great performance overall. Lot of positives to build off of. I still would love to have another solid reciever to be a real #2 so Ryan doesn't have to stare down Roddy. Also lik ATL mentioned and like alot of us have said is to have a playmaker in the backfield. Even if it's just to get 10 touches a game we need some speed like a Jeff demps of some sort

I wouldn't draft a LT, i'll rather trade or get one from free agency. That is not easy though.

I'm one to agree that Sam Baker needs to improve, but he isn't horrendous. Probably better suited at RT. I think another target (especially with Gonzo gone after the season) is the most important thing for us going forward.

Look for us to draft a lot of offense in 2011. We need a tackle, WR, TE, maybe even a speed back. Basically everything except QB.

Well after seeing the Saints play makes me feel better going into the game. Saints were lucky to win that game, horrible turnover from the 9ers that easily cost them the game.
Biggest thing I saw was we def have to be able to run the ball on them to open up the pass, and so far this year our D has looked solid so we will def need them to show up big

It's alright, Jason Snelling is a beast.

Man norwood had so much potential and still does. I can't believe this keeps happening to him. I'm glad our depth at RB is good though. Snelling should be starting or at least be getting 50% of the reps. Antone Smith will be active and Dimitri Nance will be put on the roster. I can't complain much.
When do we get Jenkins back?

Nance isn't with the team anymore. And while Snelling looked good, we need some speed out of the backfield. Hopefully Smith steps up.

Smith didn't really stand out during the preseason as much as I thought he would/hoped. Hopefully he plays good and gets some touches so we don't have to waste a pick next year.
I just saw Nance actually got in the game against bills and had a couple of carries, good for him.

Nance outperformed Smith during preseason, but Smith is going to get the nod because of his speed. He bring a new dimension we don't have at RB.
It's funny but it's almost like a different position when you look at what Turner did and what Norwood did. We don't need a replacement at running back we need a replacement at speed back.
