Hell ya, TD did exactly what I mentioned yesterday. Edwards for half the price...actually he did a little better than that, awesome signing.

Finally liking the direction the FO is taking. Looks to be a great year. Pumped.

Great move to get Ray for that price the only thing thats left for me is bringing back Blaylock. Snellins can be replaced even though he is solid.

Yep. Props Falcons fans. This was a huge need for a team trying to to the SB. Charles Johnson was the hometown guy, but I don't think he was that much better then Ray Edwards, if at all. It makes it even better you were able to get that pass-rusher while Abe is still here, and Edwards doesn't even need to change sides.

If you can get 2 more years out of Abe, you can use your 1st in 2013 on a DE. Either way, not getting a pass rusher would put a damper on the whole Julio trade, now it looks brilliant. I would have over payed probably, but getting him for that price was a big step in making a post-season run.

Only gave Eric Weems a one year contract. I wish we could have locked him up for much longer than that, maybe next off-season.

Looks like he's demanding a lot of money and the Falcons aren't willing to pay, and I hope they don't. He's been our weakest lineman for a while and really only had one good season.

I have seen no one tied to Blalock except for us. I'd be very surprised if he wasn't back, and back rather cheaply. Then it's Garrett Reynolds vs. Mike Johnson for the RG spot.

Very glad to have blaylock back at 6 year 38 million. I''m confident one of the young OG's will step up and the OL will be just as good as last year.

Any word on Snelling? I'd also like another WR brough in for depth

And I'll take Blalock back at that price. We just locked up a very good guard for the next six years, and continuity on the OL is huge IMO. Also have to like keeping those high draft picks in the organization.

Im also in favor of Johnson. Was a solid player for Alabama in the SEC blocking for a Heisman runner, he has to at least get some credit.

And as long a the Blalock contract doesnt interfere with anything cap wise over the years I'm not too upset, he is a good gaurd, I just dont think he was quite worth that much is all, but like bama said we have him for 6 years now.

What can you guys tell me about Jamaal Anderson. I know that as the #8 overall pick he is a pretty big disappointment. Not much of a pass rusher. What position did he play for the Falcons? Did he split time between DE and DT based on down and distance? Anything he did well?
