Pathetic effort today by the defense. All of you need to give your game checks back. How the **** do you not stop them 1 damn time.

ugh. couldn't get to brees OR stop the damn run. well, now we definitely want the bucs to win, and really need a win for the steelers and ravens.

thanks for a good game you guys. Was a great game really. I thought Ryan was the best qb ive seen playing the saints this season. Really the game didnt deserve a loser.

Now we have to rely on people to loose to solidify a WC spot. The division now looks pretty out of reach. We now have to cheer for TB.

It was a great game of football, but an absolutely terrible effort by our defense. Credit to your offense but if a defense can't stop a team 1 time then you don't have much of a chance.

Best game by Ryan though. He was awesome. And Roddy White. Too bad they are just wasted efforts.

Boley has to make that pick. And where the **** did our run defense go?

Ryan is great. Knowing him though, he will take the loss on himself and his first INT, even though w/o him we would have had no chance.

That was just an amazing game by Ryan. I really wish he could have gotten that W though. Hindsight is 20/20, but we should have gone for it on that 4th and 5. Eat up the clock and get the TD. Brees might have had time to carve up the defense, but I guess it was better than having them run down our throats, which is exactly what happened.

I cant believe we couldn't stop that 3rd and 3.

Anyone else think we should begin to air it out more often? Turner is being really ineffective.

Im sure that is becoming everybody's thoughts. What do we do w/ the offense?? Do we go Colts and Patriots style and pass first run second considering Ryan's ability to throw, make plays and run the offense?

It will be interesting to see what happens. Right now we need a defense.

I think that we still need to be a run-first O. Hopefully getting Baker back will be a boost in that respect.

We really have to sort out our front 7, though. That was embarrassing.

Yeah. Our run D is so inconsistent, its ridiculous. One day we can stop the Panthers 2 headed attack, and the other we give up 180 rushing yards to the Saints.

Actually if Carolina wins tomorrow, we got a good chance. Cowboys hold a tie-breaker over the Bucs if they end up with the same record since they beat them earlier in the year, and if the Falcons beat the Bucs, then we will be tied with them in record and head to head matches, so idk who's ahead in the other tiebreaker, but id be close. Either way, i wouldnt be surprised if the loser of the Carolina-Tampa game misses the playoffs completly. Especially if the Bucs lose and then lose again to Atlanta.

At least we end with the Vikings and Rams, but lets hope the Williams' Duo is out before that game

The playoffs basically start next week for the Falcons. It looks like the Cowboys are gonna win. That means the Falcons need to just view every game as an elimination game. They might be able to lose 1 of the last 3, but losing 2 would mean no playoffs. At least these game matter and we're not just waiting for the offseason to start.

I do care! You've shaken the foundation of myself image! I need to do some serious soul searching to figure out if I'm a 'hardcore' or 'casual' fan. Hardcore fans knew the Falcons would be a playoff contenders! Only the media thought the Falcons would be one of the worst teams in the league!

Sweet, Pittsburgh came back and should win. That gives the Falcons a little more breathing room, but they should still treat the remaining games like playoff games.

If the Redskins lose today as well, all of our losses would mean basically nothing (except Eagles and Saints creeping in). Its a great thing our team bounces back after losses so well. The Bucs are gonna get trashed.

The thing is, I don't feel too differently about our team after this game.

I feel like we can beat any team in the National Football League on any given Sunday.
