Cutler will grow from this game. I like Jay but he didnt play well, as long as he keeps his head up, he'll be a top 5 QB in the next 3 years.

On that early pick when he fired the ball downfield Royal was wide open in the middle of the field for a 1st down, his arm gets him into trouble, that's the biggest problem I notice but it's correctable...He will pass up the open guy 5 yards down the field for the home run ball that may or may not be there but he wants to take that shot at least...He's just got to learn to time those things better, learn to pull the defense up with his play action and his deep ball will be there all game.
He still reads defenses well, just forces a few throws, tonight his hand was hurt and they were blew out early so this wasn't a good game to judge, but he's got everything you look for, unfortunately that defense needs turned around before he can expect to win a playoff game.

Cutler douching off to reporters...calling out Philip Rivers...saying he has a bigger arm than Elway. he's on a real roll these last couple weeks. on the field? Not so much.

Gotta say, the guy has a monster arm, reads the D well, is sneaky athletic, is big, tall, strong, seems to be quite bright...but of all his impressive qualities, I have to say that the thing I love most about him is his attitude. He has an unshakable confidence and works to impose his will on the opposition. He knows he's better than everyone(whether he actually is or not), and he's not going to apologize for it. I think that is huge, and will be his biggest asset moving forward.

I hope they get a defense this offseason so that they could be legit SB contenders next season.

I think he normally would have been able to make that throw that first got picked, if my memory serves me right. His finger hurt him with that one. Even if it wasn't complete, I think it would have been a ball the receiver could have made a play on. It seemed to hang up there and not lead the receiver enough: AKA an inaccurate duck-like ball. Not the throw Cutler would normally make.

Cutler has the tools and he's got the weapons around him to be an elite QB. I think he's gotta come down a couple pegs and quit reading his own fanmail, but the guy has the swagger you need, it's just over the top right now. But he's going to be a good one. He's on the short list of up and comers. Keep in mind it's Denver's lack of a rushing attack that's really keeping that offense back right now, people can pin their ears back and get after him. I didn't watch the game, but having watched quite a few others, I'd say it's going to be hard to knock the kid out of the talk of elite QBs, especially with the era of Peyton and Favre coming to a close, the NFL needs a few good QBs to step up and be Madden's love affair...Cutler has all the potential to be one of those guys.

It really is amazing how Denver has found a way to win without a defense.

With all the injuries he is about to be in the same situation he was with Vanderbilt.

Too bad Torain had to go out he was having a nice night. We also learned that Nate Jackson and, Peyton Hillis are ballers.

EXCEPT he actually has a solid line protecting him now. Chris Williams was about all they had at Vandy.

Yeah, I didn't get into the receivers but Bennett who was incredibly only a true freshman at the time was about his only main receiving threat. Now he's got plentiful of weapons if you ask me. Incredible that he's the lone first round QB from an apparently stacked '06 class to remain starter.

So is the rule that this thread pops up whenever the Broncos don't lose? I'm not opposed to it, I'm just trying to clarify.
