The glossy isn't that bad... It's not like I'm constantly touching it, smudging it. It sits in place and is nice and shiny!

I barely touch my PS3...I just hate that finish, because it just seems to get filthy, with even minimal interaction.

Glossy sucks. Even if you aren't touching it, it's a dust magnet (naturally, plus all the intake and exhaust fans blowing in the machine). Matte ftw (even if it collects dust, it's not as obvious). I still have the plastic around my TV because I don't feel like wiping the damn thing down every couple of days.
There are four things I don't like about my PS3:
1. OS
2. Browser
3. Noise
4. Glossy Finish - the thing gets filthy

Review embargo broke on Deus Ex, rocking a 91 on metacritic so far with some perfect scores and a few high marks I've seen that haven't factored in. So the impressions of it are pretty good so far. Can't wait to get my hands on it. Shame there's no midnight release nearby and that I HAVE to buy it at Gamestop for ingame content.

What is the content from GameStop?
I have it pre-loaded on Steam and ready to go. It unlocks in 12 hours.

Yup the scores have been fantastic. I'm a tad concerned with a few things...
1. Load times look horrible
2. Voice acting/dialogue looked pretty shoddy
Nothing too damning...but those two things could certainly be mood killing.
I'm sure I'll love the game, though. I'm seeing 90's all around. IGN gave it a 9.0 as well.

IGN did a nice little comparison video for the load times. 360 is far and away the superior version and is about 20% faster.

Yeah I saw that...I never intsall games, though. These loading screens look worse than Fallout's.
This game is going to be so amazing...I cant wait. It has an 89 on metacritic right now after 20 something reviews. A bunch of perfect scores.

i really hope it's not a sign that i'll actually have to direct squadmates around for once. i've been happy enough to ignore them throughout the first two games.

Insanity my friend. You don't need to tell them positioning, but if you don't use them you get ****** up pretty good.
Going to the store in a bit to get Deus Ex. Very excited.

It's not the prettiest game and I suck at it. But I like it so far.
I just hate the quality of the pre-rendered cut scenes and the NPCs are of terrible quality and design.

I love the design and the art direction, personally. It's not the best looking game from a pure horsepower perspective, but hot damn does it have a sense of flair and style. It's a little bit choppy at the start and you really need to get a hang of how it actually plays beyond what they tell you in the tutorials, but it's very much a compelling and interesting world. Detroit is a pretty huge place from what I've seen so far, and I've just gotten free reign.

Yeah they are invaluable on insanity. Especially Miranda since she can damage all shields/armor and boosts squad damage. Miranda is basically required when you're playing as one of the sissy classes like sentinel or engineer.
I'm back and forth on Deus Ex...it seems to have everything i like, but just not very compelling looking for some reason. Chalk it up to graphical oddness I guess. Let me know how it goes.

heh, i pretty much let them do their own thing... i don't think, after the initial tutorial thing, i ever remembered how to direct them around. half the time, i'd forget to bring them back to life when they died.

The design itself is fantastic...but yeah, the character models themselves, are of poor quality. I was pretty damn tired when I was playing earlier...I'm sure next time I fire it up, I'll put a lot more time into it.

Can you put your save games and profile on a USB flash drive and move it to a different xbox?

Seriously can't wait for this, I might spend over an hour just creating my character, haha.
