Why don't we wear black shoes?

I love the look of Black shoes, Black socks and Black chin straps!
Last night was the 1st time i saw a Steeler with black shoes(Ike Taylor put black tape over his shoes), since we tried it back in the min 90's!
We had a bad year that year and I remember Darren Perry blaming it on the Black Shoes, so we switched back to white.
I think we look much tougher and way more meaner with Black on Black!
Why are we one of the only teams to not embrace the look?

...as usual I'm turning to you guys to see what you think? Maybe we can petition the team to try the Black on Black again!
