College Gameday Thread: Week 7
Discuss week 7 games.
Another FAU tuesday game.
Clemson @ Wake on Thursday, loss probably knocks Clemson out of ACC contention. I think Clemson comes out on top though.
Bunch of big time match ups on Saturday, Red River shootout at noon. Should be a great game. OK State and Mizzou is another big 12 match up, should get Dez Bryant some national recognition. UF vs LSU should be a crazy game.
PSU vs Wisky and Mich St and Northwestern are some other decent match ups.

Does Oklahoma State have the kind of Offense to hang with Mizzou? I might miss this game, I'm scheduled to work 5-11 P.M trying to switch my shift.

I don't know much about the third OSU. I'd def. like someone who has seen them more. They do seem to have, on paper, a very good team that is playing well, but I just can't convince myself that they can hang with Missouri, Texas, and Oklahoma.

If Justin Garrett is matched up on Dez Bryant at any point then Missouri will have trouble.

I can't wait for the LSU/Florida game. That game is huge, even more so now that Ricky Jean-Francois ran his mouth off.

Seen OK State play a few times. They won't be able to stop Missouri at all and Missouri's D, while swiss cheesy at times, will be able to stop OK State enough to win a reasonably close game.
The Big 12 is really god dang good this year, lol.

Going to be tough for LSU to win... I would lean Gators simply because they HAVE to win...
but their defensive ineptitude stopping the run could spell a really nice ball control game versus Charles Scott and Co.

O-Line + RB keeps UF's offense off the field for a majority of the game. If Lee can play just well, thrown one TD and no Int's LSU will be extremely hard to beat.
But then again when UF gets on the field they will be up against a LSU secondary prone to blown assignments.
Could potentially be a toss up, the wild card would be if LSU brings pressure. If they do Tebow behind that over rated O-line will have a world of trouble. But this is LSU we are talking about, they never bring pressure.
So all in all the game is even with the edge to UF due to the Swamp, and a potential edge to LSU if they bring pressure.

Wow Wake Forest is dominating Clemson so far.
And they get no points.

Tommy Bowden needs to realize that playing Cullen Harper with his bum shoulder is allowing defenses to stack the line for the run. They should really put in Willy Korn

Mark May just mocked the hell out of Lou Holtz by imitating his lisp while giving his prediction for UNC/Notre Dame

All Tommy Bowden has to do to keep his job is beat South Carolina. They can go 1-10 and nobody will care as long as the win is against USC

on the radio down here this afternoon on some sportstalk show about Clemson they were talking about how many yards the Tigers would probably need to win this game and they agreed that it would probably have to be about 200. Turns out they had about 15 or something, yikes.

Miami vs. UCF
31-10. Miami wins.
Graig Cooper with a huge day. 140 yards and 2 TD's.

Mark May is a big time jerk. Bernie Miklasz (sports writer) covered May when he played for the redskins and this is what he had to say about Mr. May...

I covered May when he played for the Redskins. An absolute jerk and one of the most arrogant persons. I've been around. May and Holtz are unwatchable.

I hope this is the year that Tommy Bowden gets fired from Clemson. He usually has tons of talent but fails to utilize properly. If they would have a competent HC they could probably be on top of the ACC right now.
