Thanks for the vote of confidence. Geez, can't you people just give it a chance? All us Browns fans can do is hope, that's all we've been able to do since we came back. Maybe we'll get a couple lucky breaks for once.

STEINBACH SIGNS WITH THE BROWNS
Several published reports confirm that the Cleveland Browns have signed offensive lineman Eric Steinbach. The deal is worth $49.5 million over seven years.
Steinbach is expected to play right tackle for the Browns.
The deal exceeds by $500,00 the contract signed last season by guard Steve Hutchinson with the Vikings.
We reported on Thursday night that Steinbach already had an agreement in principle with the Browns. And, let's face it, there's no way that much money changed hands based on one day.

Jeez, 6 years/36 million for Bentley and now 7 years/49 million for Steinbach. Quite a lot for lineman in consecutive years.

Well, this is nice to hear as a Cleveland fan. Kind of suprising (i need to see a link), becuase he reportably left with no contract insight.

Now will they have enough money to sign Clements? Or will he be a 49er...

Well have fun getting hurt in training camp and being on IR for the rest of the season Mr. Steinbach. The Browns are cursed. Atleast that means you aren't getting Dielman, I like him better than Steinbach actually.

That is crazy, the RT part. I never would have guessed. i thought for sure we would sign him to play OG.
So now our tackles are set, unless we draft Thomas to play LT, and move Shaffer to LG, but if thats the case the Browns might have the most exspensive OL in NFL history.
LT - Kevin Shaffer
LG - Joe Andruzzi
OC - Hank Fraley (someday Bentley)
RG - Isaac Sowells
RT - Eric Steinbach
Now we really need a gaurd in the draft.

I would much rather see him at OG, that is where we need the most help, and that is the position he is best at.

He could allways still play OG for us.
I would rather have Steinbach at LG and Butler at RT, rather than Steinbach RT and Andruzzi LG.

Yeah, well sorry about flipping. It's just that all day, every couple posts I read about someone the Browns might get, I read that their career is over. It just gets to me after a while. I'm cooling now. Hopefully this time, things will work out better for us, and the player we signed.

Agreed, we do need more help inside. I don't want to see Andruzzi out there again.

Great pickup for Cleveland, but can he stay healthy?
Good luck Browns Fans!

i think with all the OG's we interviewed at the senior bowl and our management mentioning it could be likely we draft one early, despite that not being how Savage usually does things, we will draft an OG in RD2-3.
It would be sweet if Blaylock went to us in RD2, but I think he'll go RD1.
