About as many as we have with your boy Jimbo?
Seriously, this all FSU all the time stuff is lame to have to read through. You might be happier at a Nole only forum.

And, of course, the job of a college coach is to develop NFL players.

IMO Weis deserves a lot of the credit for improving Matt Cassel's mechanics.last year his mechanics were horrible but better footwork and such has allowed him to develope into where he is now

Cassell looks a lot more refined than he ever did in a Patriots uniform under McDaniel's. I still really respect the job Weiss and company did with Brady at the start of his career. Really helped him become one of the more refined quarterbacks in terms of technique and footwork in the NFL.

Something interesting: Florida hires a first time head coach, is probably going to hire Charlie Weis whose offenses at Notre Dame averaged 27 point per game, and will probably hire James Willis, former Texas Tech DC, who has only been a defensive coordinator for one year and in that year his defense ranked 116th out of 120th in total defense (giving up 463 ypg) and who ranked 86th in point allowed by giving up 30ppg.

I bet that every time I go to the Krispy Kreme near campus I will see Charlie Weis there.

James Willis won't be UF's DC, and if he is, it shouldn't matter because the defense is Muschamp's. Charlie Weis will be a big time draw for college kids looking to make the NFL, and he's done much better as an offensive coordinator than head coach, so I'll take those chances.

When that is his main recruiting pitch I would say yes, yes it most certainly is. I don't kid myself, every kid at a major college is going there with the NFL in mind to at least some degree.

This is what i was going to say, i fully expect Muschamp to be calling the defensive plays.
Weiss will be great for them.

You think Charlie Weis is going to be a recruiting liability at Florida? This is why you were told to go to a FSU board.

Lou Holtz telling it like it is.
3 years into Rod's coaching, we turn the ball over all the time, we get penalized, and the D gets worse and worse.
I honestly think some of these guys don't want to come out and say he should be fired but he will be.

Kirby Smart stands a good chance of being a head coach in 2012 if UGA doesn't win at least 8 games next season.

UGA made Smart the same offer a yr ago last January, he turned them down to stay at Bama & got a raise.
Question is will Richt survive this offseason at UGA after the bowl loss?

Umm....no. They offered him the DC job, not the head coaching job.

Turned into a very costly spousal abuse charge.

No, he's really not. He started off well at UGA but with their resources and access to talent from all over the Southeast they should be much better than a 6-7 team.

i kind of hope that Michigan doesn't get Harbaugh (think he stays put) or Brady Hoke (think he stays as well) so we can hear the fans twist it like they didn't want either. I don't get the allure of the job, to be honest.
