No coaching change here, but did anyone notice how quick Jim Harbaugh was to bail from any interview or questions about where he will be coaching next year? lol.

yeah Brandon is meeting Rod at 2 with an announcement at 7 supposedly.
Rumor on Rivals is that BRady Hoke is already assembling a staff and it's rumored to be filled with former Michigan assistants/players.

I know someone who would be a WINFIGHTTREMENDOUS coach for Michigan.

I'm going to guess 11.
Also, it seems that the doofus Brian at MGoBlog.com is saddened by this news. I think that Brian must have had sexual relations with RichRod. There is no rational explanation for being sad about RichRod leaving.
It's still a premier job. I don't think that there is any way that they could make a worse hire than RichRod. Many people had a good idea that the hire was doomed from the start.

Brady Hoke has an overall losing record and has never beaten a ranked opponent?

Is Brady Hoke the likely hire? Or are they going to do a big search?
Top candidates?

Hoke seems to be the likely fallback options.
I'm guessing that, along with Harbaugh, they'll scratch around Les Miles and Gary Patterson, but both would cost them huge bucks as well.

I think Patterson would be perfect for them, but he seems more than satisfied in Fort Worth.

Harbaugh to Michigan isn't dead yet, like it has been reported in some places, but it doesn't look good. He's probably going to take a NFL job. There is still a real possibility that these "reports" are just negotiating tactics by each side.

It sounds like Harbaugh is on his way to the NFL. I think Hoke gets the UM job.

Reports that Rodriguez has been fired seem to be a bit premature. He is still expected to be fired later today/tonight, but wasn't fired when originally reported. It's still going to happen, just hasn't happened yet.

Hoke is a good coach. Is he good enough for Michigan? I'm not sure. But I've been impressed with the job he's done at both Ball State and now San Diego State. He wouldn't be the worst fallback option in the world and he can surely do a better job handling the talent Michigan gets than Rich Rod.

It would be nice if Michigan made a run after Jim Herrmann if they can't get any of the top candidates. They should try that before going after Brady Hoke.

Sounds like RichRod and Dave Brandon are still in a meeting with each other. So RichRod hasn't officially been fired yet.

From what ive heard, Hoke is an offensive mind right? What has his teams ran for the most part on the offensive side of the ball?
