Well they did kind of get screwed by having no notice of Bielema leaving. If they thought he might leave they would have been sure to keep Chryst around by promising him the job. Or even not that far in advance, if they would have found out a week earlier they probably would have gotten Doeren. I think they were caught completely off-guard and aren't thrilled about any of the remaining options.

FSU has added former Tennessee DC Sal Sunseri to the staff. Unclear if he'll be the DE or LB coach at this point.

For a school like WMU, the age doesn't matter as much IMO. Schools like that need some youth and energy to help out with recruiting.

Greg Hudson was never coming back.
DayDay is getting an absurd amount of money to recruit, with Pruitt and then getting Chris Weinke he is no loss.

So, Soup Campbell has left his position at Iowa as WR coach, rumored to be trying for the EMU OC position.
Also here is the how our offensive coaching staff is shaping up for 2013:
OC - Greg Davis - older than dirt
RB - Lester Herb - also older than dirt
WR - Brian Ferentz - 1 year coaching TEs for the Patriots, 1 year coaching OL for Iowa
OL - David Raih - 3 years as GA at Iowa including 1 year coaching TEs
TE - DJ Hernandez - Aaron Hernandez's brother, 1 year as QB coach at Brown and 1 year as a GA at Miami FL
So if you are keeping track, our offensive coaching staff will have one coach that probably should be in a home, one that is probably one of our better recruiters so he can stay, and then 3 position coaches that have a combined 0 years experience coaching their positional group, 2 of which with only general GA experience.
Yup, 2013 should be fun.

Apparently your one WR commit is now considering Minnesota.

You realize Weinke is one of the most respected QB gurus you can find, right?

The JUCO kid? He looks pretty good.
But it's cool, we had a stellar air game this season, we don't really need anyone else.
Basically if anyone wants to get a coaching job somewhere, go work for Belichick or be related to someone he knows because you'll eventually get hired by Ferentz or Pioli if he ever finds another job.

Lots of talk that Pat Narduzzi may end up the new DC at USC. If true, than that is an unbelievable hire.
