So, I think we were going to draft a corner regardless if we signed Gamble. Lucas isn't getting younger, and we will need a solid nickle corner. However, perhaps the best option already is on the team?

I think that drafting a player is riskier than going with a guy who knows your playbook, knows the team, and the coaches know him and what he can do.
I liked him a lot when we drafted him, kind of forgot about him. I had wondered if he just wasn't as good as I thought, but it makes me happy that he may work out.
Just remember, the team knows more about him than they could about any prospect. He already is two years into the playbook, and has experience covering one of the best. I don't remember his combine numbers, I don't think they were overly great..
