Closest they are coming to me is Memphis and I'm not driving 5 hours for that. I've seen Mastodon in concert and was very disappointed and I'm not a fan at all of Baroness.
Mastodon w/ support from special guests Between The Buried And Me, Baroness and Valient Thorr

ive seen em 3 times, deff not as good as they used to be, or actually newest album isn't as heavy so not as good for live shows
They'll probably play the entirety of Crack the Skye as they've been doing so far and as they did when I saw them in November. Which is good I guess - I love the album - but I'd rather they play less CTS and more everything else because as you said it's more fun to play, say, March of the Fire Ants and Blood and Thunder than The Czar and The Last Baron.
If anything, Between the Buried and Me is good enough for the show. They are ******* badass live. I kinda like Baroness also, but they're not gonna be at the show I'm looking at, but that's not a big deal for me.

Anyone here going to check out Mechanize from Fear Factory? From what I heard of it, it sounds great! Reminds me a lot of Obsolete.
Here is a single called Powershifter:

Rob Zombie will be at Riverbend here in Cincinnati this summer and I am really debating on whether or not to go. The new Hellbilly album is pretty kick ass
Veil of Maya / Animals as Leaders / Circle of Contempt / Periphery / Some local band.
Veil of Maya was as good as usual, I really wish they'd turn there sound up though, make it much louder. Animals as Leaders was great. Circle of Contempt was my favorite ( and now one of my favorite bands, I've listened to there CD before ), I also bought a shirt and talked to one of the members, but they completely tore the place apart! Periphery was alright, needs to be louder and the Local band was pretty good. It was a girl on vocals, she was fineee!
So I payed five bucks to go to a Coheed and cambria show five minutes away from school, and afterwards theres a meet and greet CD signing. I'm really not all into them but I figured for five bucks its def worth it to check em out.
Actually I think this thread went toometal, the extreme sub-genre's have taken over.
There is no such thing as too metal! I actually think this thread isnt Metal enough! There is hardly any Scandinavian Death Metal...hardly any Doom Metal..and where is the New Orleans Metal themed from Scandinavian Black Metal????
