Yeah. He has looked pretty decent. He has center-length arms but I honestly wonder if he is the tallest center in the history of the NFL.

And thank god a worthless piece of trash. He can't run the ball or pass block, add to that he doesn't play special teams how he made the team above Torrain is beyond me. Keiland is an instant upgrade and Chad Simpson should impact on special teams more than Larry would ever bring on offense. His run on Sunday in which he ran backwards 10 yards on what would have only been a 3 yard loss was pure comedy. Skins RB situation is crap, but it is actually better without Johnson. He is so washed up it's incredible. Packers or Patriots would be foolish to pick him up and I think even Chiefs and Bengals fans would agree with me.

It really is pretty crazy that his peak only lasted two years, I mean for two seasons he was a top 5 maybe even top 3 RB and then nothing.

Remember when some (not all) redskins fans were bragging about the 3 headed monster of Portis - Johnson - Parker? Well 2 of the 3 aren't even on the team anymore.

Cutting Pryce for Hamlin, bleh. Pryce might not be the same but he's at least solid and has played in every game this year. Strange move. Hamlin makes Roy Williams cover skills look good. I guess they think they will need Hamlin against Steelers. Probably for no more than special teams though. I haven't really been impressed with Zbikowski. Forget about the punt returning but he's not nearly as physical and imposing as I thought he'd be. His range is just average. I'd rather see Nakamura in there. Any word on how soon after the 6 games Reed will return?

The Seahawks released Chester Pitts.
He is likely to return in a couple weeks when he is healthy, but they needed another OL on the team that knew the system because 2 of the backups were just signed this week from the Packers PS. Mike Gibson is likely to be re-signed after being released earlier this week...to make room for one of those Packers PS guys.
I believe that is roster move #203 since Pete Carroll and John Schneider took over as coach and GM.

Safety Michael Lewis leaves 49ers
He's the 3rd 9er to leave of his own volition this yr. I'm beginning to think where there's smoke, there's fire about those rumors of Singletary losing this 49er locker room.
http://www.mercurynews.com/49ers/ci_...nclick_check=1
There was a lot of friction & an enormous amount of blame for the drubbing in KC last Sunday, Singletary said there would be benchings including Lewis per the NFLN report, & Taylor Mays & Reggie Smith were taking all the reps practice this wk. Then the HC denied benching Lewis saying he would be making the trip to Atlanta, & all starters were intact.
Now the latest reversal, Lewis' agent officially asked for his release & got it, so he won't be making the trip.
Bad joke but it needs to be said: Those rats Singletary spoke of are now departing the sinking ship. As a safety these last 2-3 yrs. Lewis has been borderline worthless.
Any way you slice it there is some bad juju happening with the team concept on these 0-3 9ers.

Bears cut Mark Anderson, sign Charles Grant.
Should have just kept Alex Brown.
Anyway...it will be interesting to see whether a 3-4 team snaps up Anderson and tries to make that work.
