Danny Clark
PFT is saying that Danny Clark signed with the Texans. If this is true, depending on the money, I could like the signing. A solid backer who, at worst, provides depth, at best, is a decent strongside starter option for them (as DeMeco has the middle).

Good signing, he had a great couple of seasons with the Raiders, but when he went to No he didn't get much a chance. IMO good signing.

I was hoping that he would supplant Mark Simoneau in the middle down in N.O. but that doesn't seem to be the case. Good signing by the Texans, I just saw that it was posted on KFFL.

He's an EXTREMELY one-dimensional player. He does what he does well, but overall he's not all that great.

He is a leader, hard-worker and a solid player with a great attitude. I was really sad to see him go last year and he should be a contributor in HOU.

He learned from Rob Ryan, he must have some talent. Overall its a pretty good signing and I see the Texans defense slowing rising IMO the only things they need now is a solid DB like Reggie Nelson or Leon Hall and maybe 1 more D- linemen to take presure off Travis Johnson and Mario Williams.

Okoye or Branch would be nice in the 1st, then grabbing Griffen or a O-lineman in the 2nd.

Why is this worth its own thread, but Eric Johnson is not?

Hopefully he will be solid for us, but I don't expect much. The fact that he couldn't supplant Simoneau is troubling.

He was great in Goal-line situations, good run defender, poor in pass coverage.
He couldn't beat out Simoneau because he came over late in training camp, and didn't learn the Defense in fast.
should be a solid depth player.
