Drew has always been on of my favorites QBs in the league and always thought Chargers made a mistake letting him go. I always knew he was accurate but didnt know that he was this accurate probably could explain why a undersized qb with a lack of arm strength could have such insane numbers i believe much is dew to his accuracy. I could see Chad Pennington have similar results on this accuracy test.

I could see at least half the QB's in the league having similar results, come on, it's 20 yards, unopposed, with as much time as you want. You don't think Manning, Brady etc could do that?

Drew Brees has perfect mechanics every time he sets his feet, PERFECT. You realize any slight mistake, it can be off by a hair, will make you miss that target. I think people are underestimating how precise that target is.

20 yards isn't a super long throw, but it's not like an underhand toss into something.

get a football and try to hit teh same exact spot 10 times out of 10 from 5 yards away, you might be surprised...

Was the first the Apache and the gladiator? That was good stuff, when the Apache clubbed the mock skull, and turned it to dust, I was like

Yeah, it's on now. They are showing the first two episodes. Gladiator vs Apache, and then 2-3, Viking vs Samurai, and then tuesday at 10, Spartan vs Ninja.

No...

The target is four inches wide. Hitting it five times out of ten would be impressive, very few have the mechanics to do it ten out of ten times.

That ending was ridiculous. The Gladiator got up from that Apache's chest. He would have killed him.

Also disagree with the simulation.

I'd take the Gladiator in a fight.

I think Peyton Manning or Tom Brady would be able to do it maybe 8-9 times. I have no problem saying that Drew Brees is a more accurate passer than the both of them though.

What amazes me is how consistent he was in throwing the football at the same velocity and angle everytime. If the NFL was to incorporate using that 'smart' ball during practices of something, it could help QB's out a lot, especially when practicing a certain type of out or curl. Making sure that the velocity and angle of release is constant each time would help the QB and WR a lot.

All I can say is that I'm extremely pleased Drew Brees is our quarterback :)

I never thought about that, but it could really help guys tweak their mechanics, because you know exactly what you are doing wrong.
