Nope UMD, I heard the St. Cloud one sold out in about a half hour.
Yeah, I got tickets in that half an hour. I was going to go to the Kato one, but I decided if I go to the St. Cloud one I will get to come home and my parents will give me food.
Glad you guys love the new Lupe song. That 3rd verse is bonkers. My fave rapper doing it for a reason.
QFMFT.
I think that all the silence is worse than all the violence
Fear is such a weak emotion thats why I despise it
We scared of almost everything, afraid to even tell the truth
So scared of what you think of me, I’m scared of even telling you
Sometimes I’m like the only person I feel safe to tell it to
I’m locked inside a cell in me, I know that there’s a jail in you
Consider this your bailing out, so take a breath, inhale a few
My screams is finally getting free, my thoughts is finally yelling through

One of the most raw lines withn actual solid meaning behind it ever. Lovin this track so far, cant wait for LASERS.
Lupe's new song is pretty tight, but I wish he would've went deeper on some of that stuff (a la Conflict Diamonds). He went around a couple different topics without really going in depth. Sounded like more of a promo for his album than anything. Not that it's bad because I love hearing new Lupe, but he's teasing us right now.
I know he has a pretty interesting view on the world and politics because of his religion and I'd really like to hear him spit what he believes. Not just this surface content.
That last verse is pretty sick though.

I feel like this is declared for whoever is currently releasing an album way too much. However, I agree with you completely here. I'm not usually that impressed by a lot of radio rap because it typically lacks any form of substance but Lupe is able make songs that bang as well as mean something. I also appreciate that he doesn't try to gain popularity by constantly saturated the market with new music (I'm looking at you wiz khalifa).
He is also a top notch live performer, I saw him and Ludacris in the same year and it was no contest.

I have always said Lupe is the best. Without a doubt in my mind. I have heard he is the best live too. He visited my college last year and I had tickets, but I missed it due to extenuating circumstances. I will never forgive myself for it.

Just a vehicle for fans to dick ride their favorite act aka the point when I stop paying attention to conversation because their is no point declaring someone to be the "hands down best" when it's based on subjectivity.
Also that Ghostface blog is pretty funnny, would be better if it was actually him though.

Paul speaks the truth.
Hip Hop fans are so fickle, and it's the same way with the indie rock scene, if someone starts gaining mainstream popularity those who formally supported that artist jump off the bandwagon and start whining about them being "sellouts"
Lil Wayne being a Packers fan has to the be the most random thing I've heard in a while.
Although Ghostface's quote was funny, his buddy Raekwon did a song with the Bieber... That some real soft ****. Then again the rap game is just one big circle jerk.
