i just feel the same as rwo. drake doesn't do much for me. he's really not a bad artist, but i just don't think he's a great rapper, or even a good one. he's solid, but makes up for it with catchy hooks and sometimes dope beats. i like a few of his songs, i don't actually dislike him, but i think he gets way way way too much love for being only a decent rapper.

I don't think there is anything wrong with liking Drake and I'm not saying he sucks. I just don't get down with his music. You can say him and J Cole are similar but doesn't mean I can't like one and not like the other.

Before I heard Cole I had heard he was like Drake, but honestly I see the comparison less every time I listen to them. Drake has a ton of flare and catchiness but a lot is because of his punchlines, singing and R&B influences but their content isn't the same at all.

I like J Cole's rapping better than any new(ish) comer.

I literally like maybe 3 Drake songs (November 18th, Uptown, Killer). I like it better when he just sings hooks (Money To Blow, 4 My Town). J. Cole's Warm Up was in heavy rotation last summer, and right now he's got three songs that still get spins (Grown Simba, Dreams, Losing My Balance).
