If you have a decently strong immune system (i.e., not 90 years old like JBond said or really young) you are fine. It's not the plague, it's not a global killer. Granted I don't want to get it because it sounds like it would suck to have but at our age I wouldn't worry about it getting really serious if you catch it early.
