Upcoming Holdouts
With the new salary cap and inflated salaries for free agents, there are going to be lots of jealous stars holding out to take advantage of the change in the market. This is an article by Peter King about the repercussions of the FA craze this year.
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/200...312/index.html
What players from your teams do you think will hold out, and will these players win their battles? How much do you expect them to make?

Well, for the Giants, I can't see anyone making a hold out as of now, but there are several teams that may. Don't be surprised if the Patriots have another hold out. They always seem to get quite a few..

Doesn't appear to be any Bengals holding out. Justin Smith said he will sign the franchise tender and most of our offense has fresh deals anyway.

There are no players on the article, so I was interested to see who you guys predict will hold out.

I'm sure Lance Briggs will miss all of training camp and most of the preseason.

Hasn't TJ been asking for a new contract? I don't think he'd hold out, but theres always that possibility.

To really make his point, he'd miss some of the regular season as well.

As they should. The school is a place of learning.
I think Michael Turner might hold-out if he doesn't get traded or signed by another team.

To answer my own question, Terrell Owens will surely try to capitalize on the new salary cap :D

For the Eagles, I don't see anyoneholding out. But L.J. Smith is a longshot, if any Eagle would holdout.

That was PFT running with the idea that he signed a new agent in order to do so. He said that wasn't his intentions and that he would stick with the deal because he would've been thrilled at that contract his rookie season.
