Whats your major/line of work?
Many of us here have jobs or are college students so I was just wondering what type of work or major everyone is a part of.
I am a psychology major but am trying to get into med school.

Communications. I hope to get into Broadcast Journalism and Idaho State's program is top notch. Maybe if I can't pursue a pro football career I can still be involved in sports.

Its a really fun field and right now I am doing editing classes. We learned how to put what we edit onto a dvd and make it look exactly like one you would get from Best Buy. Its pretty sweet. The one hard part is getting into the classes because there aren't too many of them at my university and right when the classes open up they are mostly taken within the first day. I can wait until the day before school starts and still be able to get into an Economics class.

I'm a math major, hoping to use that to get into business of some sort but teaching/statistics aren't awful fallbacks.

My brother is a junior in medical school and wants to be a psychiatrist because they get pretty good pay and normal 8 to 5 hours. He thought at first he wanted to become one of the filthy rich doctors that do surgery all the time but he has now realized he cant stand surgery because of the hours they have. He had to show up at the hospital at 6am and his shift ended at noon the following day. He is now in the OB/GYN portion of med school and cant wait for it to get over. He said that one girl weighed 350 pounds and they had to play "find the vagina." haha Then he said another lady came in with warts that they had to burn off with a laser.

Although Sports Management sounds like a sick program, what does one do with a degree in sports management?
