Kelvin Hayden is very good and very underrated but Rasheen Mathis is nearly a shutdown corner.

If we can get guys to agree on one specific team we could have matchups to see whose division has the best All Pro team.

I'm surprised more people didn't make an NFC East one, so far the only 2 ones are made by eagles fans. We need more opinions.

LE - Ty Warren (Patriots)

This is the team I would agree most with. Only differences might be in who I took at RB. Not many options at RG and SS. I'd take the same guys that you did, with the anticipated move of Butler away from RG making it a little easier. Again, that wouldn't have been anything great.
Both safeties had disappointing years and Whitner could easily be replaced if somebody else stepped up. I'm not as totally down on Whitner as a lot of others. I won't give him a pass for playing hurt, he definitely needs to step up his game. But his leadership role seals it for me. That might be a little biased, but I don't see a better option in this division, regardless. He hasn't met expectations, but I absolutely back him as our defensive captain and leader.
Leon is a great dual returner and is the pick if you're going KR/PR. But if you're going to split up kicks and punts I feel that Buffalo is better represented at each spot, but it's just an imaginary luxury getting to choose between those guys.
Some discrepancy in the LB spot among the AFCE teams. Not much experience between Mayo, Poz, and Harris. At their best, Mayo and Harris have much more of an impact.

I really think Mathis has been getting by on rep for a while now. Last year, I'd've put him at the top of the list, but not anymore.

Other than RT, you and I have the same exact offense. Interesting that you're running a 4-3 when 3/4 of the divison runs 3-4. It works though. Carr over Cribbs as a returner though? Come on...

Not sure what you think about Vilma, but Ruud is a MLB all the way. He has the coverage and pursuit angles perfected. I'd put Vilma at SLB and keep Ruud at MLB.
G is a toss-up really.

so we are basing this only on last season? Roy Williams still has shown that he is a lot more capable.

That's what I thought we were doing. Hank Baskett had more yards and touchdowns than Roy Williams. Hell, 12 players in the NFC East had more receiving yards last year than Roy Williams. How am I supposed to justify having him as the #1 or #2 receiver in the division?

he actually has the credentials, he was traded during mid season, it takes some time to get used to everything. i mean everyone said Peyton Manning struggled because he missed part of TC. Roy williams never played with the team. now with him actually being the #1, i believe he will get based on his productions on the Lions, id take him over DeSean. that said, another one of those seasons, i can see it, but at this point id take Roy over DeSean

So because he got traded, that means he can lazily round off routes, get meh hands, and not get more than 3 catches in any game with his new team? Super. Hooray for excuses.

i believe its the same with Julius Peppers and his down year. everyone has down years. he still was one of the top WRs before.

RB - Westy/Portis/Jacobs (had to go with that trio, westy's the best weapon, Portis the best all around back and Jacobs the most punishing runner/goal line back)
FB - Madison Hedgecock
WR - Roy Williams, Santana Moss and Desean Jackson (although I expect this list to change by next season with Thomas, Maclin, Nicks and Barden making an impact)
TE - Jason Witten
LT - David Diehl (wow does the east suck at LT, Samuels injuries have made him less of a player, Flozell is pretty much done and Peters just had one of the worst seasons I've ever seen from a tackle, and having been in buffalo that whole time I watched every painful whiff)
LG - Leonard Davis (him and Snee are the top two guards in teh east and both play RG so one of them will have to move to LG for this team)
C - O'Hara (I go with the smart vet over the bigger and stronger Gurode and Jackson because he's so huge to our oline consistency with his calls and smarts)
RG - Snee
RT - Shawn Andrews (only until Beatty pushes Diehl to RT though :p )
DE - Justin Tuck/Trent Cole
DT - Albert Haynesworth
DT - Jay Ratliff/Bunkley/Robbens (all three are coming off great seasons)
DE - Osi Umenyiora
OLB - DeMarcus Ware
MLB - London Fletcher (because AP got fat and Stewart wasn't as impressive as was expected last year)
OLB - Michael Boley (didn't think Gaither/Jordan of the iggles were good enough although they're young, Rocky's been too mediocre despite his tools and none of the cowboys LBs outside of Ware and James fit a 4-3)
CB - Corey Webster
CB - Shelden Brown
CB - Carlos Rogers/Terrance Newman/Asante Samuel (Newman can't stay healthy, Rogers' ball skills are on par with Will Allen's and he isn't better than Brown and Webster in coverage, against the run or at jamming to make up for it, Asante is a playmaker who isn't on the other guys' level as a cover corner)
S - Laron Landry
S - Quentin Mickell (although by next year Kenny Phillips will have a legit case)

AFC North
QB: Roethlisberger
RB: Parker
FB: McClain (Vickers a close second, a beastly blocker)
WR: Edwards
WR: Ward
TE: Miller
LT: Thomas
LG: Steinbach
C: Mack (I know, I know. He is a rookie. But I think with the talent on that line he will come out and be great from the get go)
RG: Whitworth (Ryan Tucker if healthy would go here. The one game he played in 2008 was when the browns beat up the giants. He honestly is the best player on the brown's line when he is healthy.)
RT: Gaither
DE: Ngata

How do you not have Darnell Dockett on the 1st team? You didn't even put him on the 2nd team either. I would take Dockett over all 4 DT's you have on both the teams. I'm hoping you just forgot about him somehow.

Heres mine for the AFC North-
QB- Ben Roethlisberger (Carson Palmer is the better QB when healthy though)
RB- Willie Parker
FB- Le'Ron McClain
TE- Heath Miller
WR- Braylon Edwards
WR- Santonio Holmes
SlotWR- Derrick Mason
LT- Jared Gaither
LG- Ben Brubbs
C- Matt Birk
RG- Eric Stienbach
RT- Joe Thomas
Defense(3-4)
DE- Aaron Smith
NT- Shaun Rogers
DE- Haloti Ngata
LOLB- Terrell Suggs
MLB- D'Qwell Jackson
MLB- Ray Lewis
ROLB- James Harrison
CB1- Ike Taylor
CB2- Dominqiue Foxworth
Nickel- Fabian Washington and/or Eric Wright
FS- Ed Reed
SS- Troy Polumalu
K- Phil Dawson
P- Sam Koch, he had a GREAT year.
KR- Josh Cribbs
PR- Josh Cribbs
I put Suggs over Woodley because he is way more complete as a linebacker. Mason over Chad OchoStinko cause he's more productive and doesn't have the huge annoying mouth. Plus he's just way to underrated. And I'm suprised nobody has put mentioned Foxworth yet, he is probably the best corner on the Ravens and 2nd best in the division. D'Qwell over Farrior because he's younger, faster, and more "impact" plays.
Heres my NFC East as well, keep in mind I'm not a huge follower of them.
QB- Donovan McNabb
RB- Clinton Portis
FB- Mike Sellers
TE- Jason Witten
WR- Roy Williams
WR- DeSean Jackson
Slot- Santana Moss
LT- Chris Samuels
LG- Chris Snee
C- Shaun O'Hara
RG- Shaun Andrews
RT- Jason Peters (had a terrible year, but was solid the year before, should have it easy at RT)
Defense(4-3)
DE- Trent Cole
DT- Albert Haynesworth
DT- Jay Ratliff
DE- Osi Umenyiora
WLB- Demarcus Ware
MLB- London Fletcher(vastly underrated)
SLB- IDK?? Clint Sintim??
CB1- Aaron Ross
CB2- Asante Samuel
Nickel- Corey Webster
FS- Quentin Mikel
SS- LaRon Landy
