Default Which conference is better at which positions?

Its AFC vs NFC and depth of position counts.

QB: AFC. With Peyton Manning and Tom Brady there, they easily take this right now. Matt Ryan, Jay Cutler, and Aaron Rodgers will make a case for the NFC in the future.

RB: NFC. 10 of the top 15 rushers last season were from the NFC, including the top 4 (Peterson, Turner, Williams, Portis). This one seems pretty one sided.

WR: NFC. I am giving this to the NFC by a slight edge. Its close, but with Fitzgerald, Boldin, White, Jennings, Smith, C. Johnson, and Bryant on the NFC, I think they take the honors over A. Johnson, Moss, Marshall, and Wayne.

TE: NFC. This is a blowout. NFC has Tony G, Witten, Cooley, Winslow, Shockey, Olsen, and Carlson.

Done for now.

CB: AFC by a mile. and a half. **** it five miles.

Sorry Woodson/Sniper.

The NFC doesn't have a whole lot to put up against Reed, Troy, and Bob either.

i know he was last season, but does that warrant him being mentioned as one of the top WRs?

He definitely has people watching and the momentum is going his way. But like I said, you can get a repeat of this year next season, or you could get a couple DUIs

I was just naming some of the top receivers from last year (yardage wise). He did put up 1200 yards. He certainly isn't bad...

I would actually give the WR a dead heat there

NFC; Fitz, Boldin, Smith, CJ, White, Housh, Colston, Jennings

AFC; Moss, Welker, Wayne, Marshall, Bowe, Edwards, Ochocinco, TO, A Johnson

Both have ridiculous elite talent-NFC with Fitz, Smith etc, AFC with Moss, Johnson etc.

Both have great young up and coming receivers- CJ, Jennings, Bowe and Marshall

Both have WRs who can be as consistent as consistent can be-Housh and Welker.

Really I cant pick anything between them. Overall based on talent if you look at last year the NFC would come out on top because of Fitz but over the last two/three years its the AFC because Moss, Johnson and TO have had statiscally great seasons that completely eclipse the NFC. However both Moss and TO are well in their 30s so the balance comes back

Yea Tom Brady and Peyton are better than any of the NFC QB's and Big Ben and Phillip Rivers are better than Mcnabb and Romo IMO

Sorry Woodson/Sniper.

The NFC doesn't have a whole lot to put up against Reed, Troy, and Bob either.
Umm... A mile? The NFC does have Terrence Newman, Mike Jenkins, Sheldon Brown, Asante Samuel, Carlos Rogers, DeAngelo Hall, Corey Webster, Charles Tillman, Nate Vasher, Charles Woodson, Al Harris, Antoine Winfield, Chris Gamble, Chris Houston, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, Marcus Trufant and Nate Clements
