I have been gettin it all day on my laptop. It's not letting me start windows or go into safe mode or anything.



If anybody responds, I'll give them all the specifics about what's going on. Can any of you guys help me?

I don't have the recovery disc but I can buy one if needed. What does the recovery disc do?

Will re-install your OS, which will fix your computer. Down side when you boot to the recovery disc you lose all of your data :(

BTW Sniper I just noticed your avy and could not help but notice that there is a black man playing hockey. I thought the only thing black a hockey game was the puck.

If it is XP, most likely cause of a BSOD these days is your hardware dieing or having driver conflicts.

Do you ever get an "SCSIPORT.SYS" error? This is common with conflicting hard drives. From my experience you may need a clean install of the OS. If you don't have a CD you should be able to get a copy from Microsoft. If at all possible, get an external HD and save as much data on there as you can.

Oh, did you upgrade anything? New motherboard? etc.. Are you running anything from Daemon tools? They seem to cause the BSOD sometimes.
