When will the 1st round picks sign?
Stafford and Sanchez are the only top 20 picks to sign a contract.
Whats up, when do these guys sign the dotted line?

For all parties sake, I hope within the next two or three days, so both sides can get the most out of each player, and the player can become as good as possible as soon as possible. I think the whole wrinkle of the potentially uncapped season may have soemthing to do with this, obviously...

It shouldn't take long for some of the more marquee names to be signed but the situation in Denver with Knowshon and Ayers is still questionable in my mind..

A lot of TCs are under way though, or will be soon, and that may be a problem...

I don't think so, his agent is trying to get more than what a 10th pick gets and make him a top 5 paid this year.

Yeah, 4 1st rounders only have signed. I believe most, if not all TC's will be in full swing by the weekend. This year just feels kind of off. I don't remember many years when so little 1st rounders have signed this close to TC.
Heck, the Bills have two holdouts in Maybin and Wood. So do the Broncos with Moreno and Ayers.
Anyone know how many 1st rounders signed this time last year (days before TC)?

Which is why he will be the last one to sign...
Hopefully DHB signs soon since Raiders report tomorrow. He needs all the practice time he can get.

I don't think any amount of practice will save his NFL career from a slow death on the Raiders.

Aaron Maybin is reportedly holding out until Crabtree signs. He feels that if Crabtree get's top-5 money he should get the typical "one-pick later" decrease.

Makes me happy we had to get brown in the 2nd, he's already signed and at a cut price too.
this always takes time, once the first guy taken at each position signs and the picks 1-10 sign it's usually pretty quick.

Ah, I am happy to not have to deal with this. So happy Sanchez signed early and removed any potential frustration.

Yes, but you need to ask yourself if there's a reason he fell to the 2nd... Perhaps there is.
The picks may sign when Crabtree stops being a dick.

Crabtree isn't going to get top 5 money. My guess is that its more media spectulation than anything. They'll start to pick up tomorrow.

Luckily they share the same agents and the Packers will have had 2 full weeks to sign Raji and Matthews. I'd like to see both guys in on time but more so Matthews because he'll need the reps if he's going to challenge for a starting job from the start. Raji is pretty much a guaranteed starter and his position isn't as technical so if he's a day or 2 late no biggie.

Not from what's already been said about him. He's under ron meeks too, he did a little something with two guys in Indianapolis
Robert Mathis:
6"2
245
Dwight Freeney:
6"1
268
Everette Brown:
6"2
260
It's damn sure not production in college why he fell and if it's size it's not going to matter too much with Meeks calling the shots.

Oh, I missed that he was the same size as Freeny and did well in OTAs. Hall of fame.

But if you're going into Day 4 of Camp and you have two first rounders who figure to play important roles, then that's kind of lame.
I was hoping Levitre's signing was a start that we'd knock them all out at the start of camp, but Maybin, Wood, and Byrd all need contracts.
Hopefully they're in there by the time most other camps start, but ideally I would've liked to have everyone going from the start. There's a lot of potential contribution from this class.
