Matt Barkley will be the best QB to be selected in the Top 5 since Peyton Manning.

Well, maybe some not so bold:
- The Houston Texans will post their 1st ever winning season with at least 9 Ws.
- Wade Phillips will be gone from Dallas by Thanksgiving's rematch with the Raiders & replaced by Garrett as HC. Jerry Jones will make a MNF halftime speech to the nation about how sorry he is about it that will be completely lacking sincerity.
- Albert Haynesworth will retire on the job with the Skins.
- 25 of 32 teams will run some variation of the wildcat offense & none of them will be effective.
- The Jags will suck on many levels & Del Rio will get canned.
- Crabtree will sit the yr. out in a contract dispute & be traded to (your fave underachiever team name here)
- Mario Williams will edge out Demarcus Ware & Shawne Merriman for the sack lead.
- 3-4 more Denver Broncos will demand to be traded.
- The Ravens will win the AFC North with Joe Flacco the OMVP.
- Bellichick will be penalized & fined draft choices & millions of $ b/c the Patriots got caught cheating.
- Former NFL trashheap teams the Miami Fins & Atlanta Falcons will make the playoffs.
- The Eagles will win the NFL East & blow it in the playoffs again; McNabb will be in a different NFL uni by draft day, 2010. Vick will not see the field but will be pelted with plastic bags of blood in road games by fans, then released by the team, his career over not with a bang but a whimper.
- Favre will sign with the Vikes & play at least 8 games throwing more INTs than TDs again, this s/b enough to cost the Minnesota a playoff spot.
- The Raiders will win 8 games but no playoffs, SD Bolts win the AFC West

Oakland will surprise people this year. They remind me of other teams that have risen quickly and surprised a lot of people. It helps that the AFC West does not look too good right now. I wouldn't fear KC or Denver. San Diego always has the "Norv" problem to worry about. Darren McFadden gets 1,500 total yards on 250 touches.
Houston finally get its talented defensive players to perform up to standards (Amobi Okoye, Fred Bennett, i'm looking at you!) then they make the playoffs. That offense will be one of the top-5 in the entire league. I say Mario Williams wins D.P.O.T.Y.
Chris Simms takes over Kyle Orton's job by the team's bye week.
Matt Ryan will be in the pro-bowl, the team will have to throw more because the defense will have a hard time stopping people.
Minnesota is the best team in the NFC, but only if Rosenfels is the starter.

-P. Manning does NOT go to the Pro Bowl
-T. Jackson ends the season as the starter and has a good year leading the Vikes into the playoffs
-E. Manning ends the season with a QB rating < 80
-Merriman ends the season with < 10 sacks
-LT returns to form
-Reggie Bush rushes for 1000 yds

As for my bold predictions:
The Packers will win the NFC North
Both the Cowboys and the Redskins will finish with a losing season
And thats really all I have...

James Davis (Cleveland) rushes for more than 700 yards and becomes Cleveland's starting running back for 2010
