At Ft. Polk, you would have no problems with it at any local establishments, but try going 100 miles away and getting the same. You basically had to hope that someone would see your military ID and be cool. for that matter once I was 21, many places that were a good distance from a military installation (like when I was home on leave) would not even accept military ID.

Get used to it.
Most of the time when you're not in a military town, they don't even know where the date is on it. whenever somebody doesn't want to take it i get really indignant and usually they just let it go.

Haha, a few weeks back my computer had a fit and firefox stopped working. After 1 evening of using IE I basically had a meltdown, when I couldn't get firefox to work no matter what I did, I just formatted the partition and started over, that is how bad IE is, I can't believe people can still use browsers that don't have adblock.. how do you deal with all that crap. I was going to punch the screen if I saw one more sixpack that was acquired in 4 weeks!
