Really liked him in New England and was dissappointed when he was not kept. He looked good in Cincy, and the Bengals were obviously stupid to let him go. He won't start, but he'll be a significant part of the defense, and he's a flat-out monster on special teams.

Won't start?
Who is going to beat him out?
Zach Thomas has yet to even practice he is going to have a hard time making the team let alone starting.
My starters for opening day at LB.
OLB - Vrabel
ILB - DJ
ILB - Mays
OLB - Hali

Mays has a very strong chance to start, from what I've seen. The only other LB who has jumped out at me thus far is Studebaker, and Mays is more athletic and faster.

He has looked decent. You can tell that he's working hard and it's paying off. Apparently the coaching staff loves him there, so we'll see. I don't ever see him being a pass rushing terror but he has been decent against the run at least.

Vrabel can play either.
But Studebaker has been a stud. Always liked him and was sad when he went to a 4-3 team out of Oregon State. I'm surprised they didn't keep Jason Babin.
Also, Monty Beisel has looked really good. I expect to see a lot of him this season.
