Top NFL jersey sales list
Here's the entire list from sales on NFLShop.com from the NFL's first four months of the fiscal year.
1. Brett Favre, Vikings
2. Jay Cutler, Bears
3. Troy Polamalu, Steelers
4. Michael Vick, Eagles
5. Ben Roethlisberger, Steelers
6. Tony Romo, Cowboys
7. Mark Sanchez, Jets
8. Tom Brady, Patriots
9. Adrian Peterson, Vikings
10. Eli Manning, Giants
11. Terrell Owens, Bills
12. Peyton Manning, Colts
13. Hines Ward, Steelers
14. LaDainian Tomlinson, Chargers
15. Jason Witten, Cowboys
16. Larry Fitzgerald, Cardinals
17. Joe Flacco, Ravens
18. Matt Ryan, Falcons
19. Aaron Rodgers, Packers
20. Michael Crabtree, 49ers
Update: Crabtree's holdout is hurting his jersey sales. He was No. 8 earlier this month.

Favre was at the top of jersey sales pretty much his entire career as a packer even though they haven't changed at all since about 1988.

The Farve, Vick and Crabtree jersey sales make me angry for a variety of reasons. I don't get it at all.

I am shocked about Flaccco. I think its because as a rookie he is the best QB since Vinny. And we have seen flashes of his talent and he can be a beast.

Flacco is a fine player, I'm just shocked more established players like Ray Lewis or Ed Reed aren't ahead of him. I figured those guys would be the top Ravens year in, and year out.

I question why any Viking Fan would want to wear favre's name on a jersey in the first place. The day he signed I told my parents don't dare buy me a Vikings Favre jersey.

It's not that surprising considering that the majority of those names are players that are either in the peak of their popularity or relatively new. Basically why would people buy ray lewis and ed reed jerseys NOW as opposed to years ago?

I would never get an offensive player on the Ravens over Lewis/Reed/Ngata/Suggs

A Michael Oher or Jared Gaither jersey would be pretty sweet

People that are going to buy Ed Reed or Rey Lewis jerseys pretty much already have bought them by now.

Exactly. It's like people making a big deal out of Kobe Bryant having the best jersey sales in China. It's because everyone already bought Yao jerseys five years ago.
