Bronco Cuts
Broncos got 10 off the roster, bringing the total down to 66 (including Marshall).
13 more will have to be cut.
Here were the cuts:
QB Ingle Martin
C Kory Lichtensteiger
T Clint Oldenburg
WR Nate Swift
RB Marcus Thomas
DT Matthias Askew
CB Rashod Moulton
DT Carlton Powell
LB Lee Robinson
OL Matt McChesney was placed on the reserve/injured list.

A little bit surprised to see Lichensteiger and Powell on the list. I thought Robinson might of stayed on as well. The next 13 we'll probably see Crowder Moss and Thomas all let go, bringing that draft class down the drain, even more so.

I heard a rumor that Moss was told specifically that either he or Crowder would be cut based on their relative performance in the Arizona game. If that's not motivation to come out and play well, I don't know what is...
Josh Bell is in trouble... his injury isn't well timed as there are a number of DB's making their case for a roster spot.
If you go based on performance, LaMont Jordan should definitely be cut in favor of keeping Darius Walker... but we'll have to see if McD is willing to turf one of his NE guys.
It will be interesting to see what happens with the WR's. Will both Brandon Lloyd and Chad Jackson survive the chopfest? I like Lloyd's ability to go up and get the ball, but his history of slacking off for big chunks of the season isn't particularly encouraging.

I am happy to announce that Moss will be staying. Crowder has been cut. I love the guy, hope he can play.

"A well-placed sourced just informed me that Broncos defensive end Jarvis Moss just contacted them and said he made the Denver Broncos 53 man roster.
After congratulating him on his good news, Moss just texted back, "Thank you."
Crowder was the Broncos 2nd round draft pick in 2007 as well.
Crowder just text me, 'It's all good, I need a [sic] dresh start. "

The final cuts should have been announced by now, hopefully soon.

*edit*
Roster is at 53, Marshall not on the active roster since he's suspended. One more will have to be cut to make room for him.

We're carrying 6 WR's (Eddie Royal, Brandon Stokley, Jabar Gaffney, Kenny McKinley, Chad Jackson and Brandon Lloyd) right now. My guess is we drop one when Marshall comes back. I hope it's not Lloyd, as he seems to have some chemistry with Brandstater.
Even better than dropping a WR would be to cut LaMont Jordan. He looks old and afraid of contact... which aren't great attributes for a RB.

What's the status of UDFA DE Rulon Davis? Was he cut previously, or did he make ya'lls active roster?

Rulon was released around the same time Le Kevin Smith came in. I liked him, but I guess he just couldn't hack it.
Marshall is allegedly coming back, and the jets are trying to allegedly get him still. They traded for Kevin O'Connell, whom the Broncos tried to claim off of waivers. They are trying to use him as leverage, but I don't buy that it will work. Brandstater is already a project QB.
Send the Broncos David Harris and a pick and we have a deal.
