I'm pretty surprised, to say the least, to see that New England is favored by 4 points. Atlanta imo enters this game with both the better offense and the better defense, with special teams being around a wash. Weather.com says there's a 100% chance of rain and 13-mph winds, but I don't see how that hurts the Falcons more than the Patriots.

Washington @ Detroit - Although I certainly can see the upset talk, I'm just not confident enough to jump on the ship. The Redskins generate a good interior push.. I'm not sure Stafford gets the interior protection to step up in the pocket... likewise it will be tough to run on the Skins. Who knows maybe the Lions finally do give their fans something to cheer about.

Green Bay @ St. Louis - I think the Pack are better than what they showed last week... and they catch a break playing the Rams.

San Francisco @ Minnesota - In the past this might be a game the Vikings lose.. I think they have the D-line play to contain Gore... and this game will likely come down to Peterson's ability.. I think the 49ers might be able to slow him down but he'll get his big plays in... and that will be just enough to pull the Vikings ahead for another week.

Atlanta @ New England *Upset - Surprised to see the line for this.. For most of the week I was actually thinking strong on the New England side... but after a lot of going back and forth I think this becomes the stepping stone game for the Falcons.. especially with the uncertainty of both Moss, and Welker... even if both play how effective?

Tennessee @ NY Jets - this is where it gets dicey.. I believe the Titans will be in must-win mode for this game.. while the Jets might not be able to match the intensity they showed last week vs. the Pats.

Kansas City @ Philadelphia - not much to say here Eagles even with Kolb starting still look like the stronger team, at home. I know they are banged up.. but I don't think Reid and that staff let themselves drop 2 in a row at Home this early on.

NY Giants @ Tampa Bay - even with injuries I believe the Giants are the stronger team on the Road.

Cleveland @ Baltimore - might be lock of the week Cleveland hasn't shown much, while Baltimore is off strong.

Jacksonville @ Houston - so which Texans team shows up? I'm inclined to believe Schaub makes some more big throws to Johnson.

New Orleans @ Buffalo - weather condition will make this game interesting and might alter either teams approach. Although this might be a road bump game I think the Saints are the hotter team and can make it through.

Chicago @ Seattle - Seattle is hurting with key injuries, and Cutler looked to be hitting his stride last week.

Miami @ San Diego - Tough road for Miami to start this season, I can't see the Chargers dropping 2 straight at Home.

Pittsburgh @ Cincinnati - this is the off the cuff pick. Just have a feeling (might be completely wrong here) but I think the Bengals play it though and come out with a victory... especially since the Steelers have not been dominating so far.

Denver @ Oakland - I think this one will be close, and when it comes down to the wire I just can't trust the ball in Jamarcus' hands.

Indianapolis @ Arizona - shoot out of the week? Should make for good TV..
