Ealy played the same position as Aldon at Mizzou, that's pretty much where the comparison ends. But yeah, it's an easy connection.

Yup. People often want to compare the next long edge rusher to Aldon Smith. I'm a Dolphins fan, and when we drafted Dion Jordan, a lot of people made the comparison. Aldon Smith has a rare combination of violent hands, long arms, and a natural understanding of leverage - that's where he butters his bread. Ealy is closer to R. Quinn than A. Smith, but I don't rank him as high as I ranked either coming out.

Ealy is a beast. As a prospect I'd compare him to Quinn. Not saying he is that guy but excellent blend of speed size and strength.

Pryor is like 4" taller than Thomas. Ealy reminds me of a poor man's Ziggy Ansah. Sam reminds me of Corey Lemonier from the last draft.

Pryor may be taller than thomas but he plays like him. Quick to the ball. Always around it. Like a cannon ball launch.

Ealy is a more proven Ziggy Ansah / JPP. He's gonna skyrocket and go top 15

That's correct. He really can play any linebacker position in either scheme. He's best suited as a middle/inside backer, but his freshman year he was extremely successful as a situational pass rusher, so I really believe he could hold his own as a 3-4 outside backer if he needed to be.

I believe he can be an above average starter in the league, but if not he would be an awesome guy to have on a team since he could be used for depth at every LB spot.

I really really really don't think he could be a 3-4 OLB, assuming it's a normal where he needs to provide a pass rush. He has short arms and he's much better suited for 3-4 ILB 4-3 Sam or 4-3 MLB.

Ka'Deem Carey is making me think of LeSean McCoy a bit. I wasn't a big fan of LeSean, and I'm not a big fan of Carey this year, so it's odd that they seem similar to me. Maybe it means I'll be wrong about Carey, too.

The closest thing to LeSean McCoy in college is Kenyan Drake.
