1. D settled in after playing pretty bad first half
2. Turnover battle won
3. Penalties way down
4. No injuries
5. Continued development of Romo Austin
6. No INT
Bad Things
1. Witten and Williams are having bad hands games.
2. A little loose with the ball (Williams TD and Romo fumble)
3. No enough running IMHO during this game -- we seem to be reverting to 2007 looking for 15 Yards per Play
4. Safety Pass D still sucks
5. Run D kind of bad. A few ++5 yard runs to Julius and Edgerrin. Yuck.
6. Too much trickeration with Crayton and Austin running.
Gotta ask E-Man, Metsox and LizardState about that.
Well I gotta admit I was wrong to some extent. Of course it's too early to call things as fact, but the Eagles really shined today. As much as it pains me to say, they're a pretty good team.
On the Cowboy side of things, this is exactly what should've happened. You have to blow out the bad teams in style. Not much to complain about outside of a few mistakes. Every team makes mistakes though. It's all about not making them when things are crucial. The pass game was solid, the pass rush was very good. The run D was good outside of a few runs, and the only real beef is not using the run game more. I think this team is ready to go into Philly and get 1st place. Next week the chips are definitely on the line.

Our ST's is the ****, that's all that needs to be said :D
Coverage units, return units, punting and kickoffs, Joe De has been one of the biggest additions we brought in. Considering how attrocious we were last year in that aspect, it's very refreshing to see the change. Very obvious that we put in a concious effort to turn that around.
Now if only the same could be said for penalties we might be going somewhere.....
Honestly if we could cut down on stupid penalties in key situations I think we could definately go deep in the playoffs, I'm gonna see how the team performs vs Philly first. We should be pumped to erase memories of last years 44-6.

Speaking of penalties, this was a very clean game on our part. Something like 5 penalties and one was that dumb ass hit by Hamlin.
And I feel I get to gush about Hurd just a little more today. :) He played a great game all around, he had the one penalty but, he had himself a ball game. Our coaches had him down for four tackles and he made a great play on that short cross. And his blocking, was fantastic all day long. He had a real good one on Crayton's TD. <3 haha
You still think he's slow? :)
Oh, that Austin guy is pretty good also. :D But really, he played fantastic other than that fumble. Got a couple of pass interference calls that may have cut into his yards a bit. One of those was pretty generous but, w/e. The refs are giving him calls, I like it. Gotta love the energy he plays with. Miles and Sam always have big goofy smiles on their faces when they make something happen and I love that. A lot of passion for the game with these two. They seem to play that much harder than others at the position. Not taking anything for granted and always looking to get better. Undrafted WRs for the win?
The whole "we needed to draft 13 billion special teams players" was a joke idea. Changing the ST coach was big. Getting Felix back was big. Getting Buehler was legit. But the other rookies... are they aren't doing jack on STs.

You're right, but three of them are hurt. Does anyone know why J. Williams was inactive?
