Week 13: Detroit

I'm actually hoping Stafford does well against us, because I'm rooting for him to be successful in the NFL. But he better not win :P

On another note, the play off picture is getting more interesting for us. Steelers falling to Ravens was a good thing, I'm a lot more scared of the Steelers than the Ravens. However, I believe with a soft schedule and a healthy Roethlisberger they could actually win out.

Should they win out, that would land them at 11-5. If we lose to Vikings and Chargers, we also will be 11-5, but would win the division. If we lost to Jets as well though, we would end up 10-6, and could lose a wild card spot to Denver & Houston who both have wins over us and might also end up 10-6.

Lets hope we beat Detroit, KC & NYJ to ensure the AFC North!

We should have higher expectations in Dec/Jan - either beat Vikings or the Chargers on the road and win against the Lions, Chiefs, Jets to finish off 4-1.

Looking for us to pound the rock this Sunday with Benson/Johnson. Expecting that our passing game kicks into gear against the Lions, its a secondary that can be had.

We should Beat Det KC NYJ Unless we have 1 round bye then we will play are 2nd strings against Jets then they most likely should beat us.

San Diego we can beat if we get are offense gets going they have a suspect Def still and banged up OL so i think are Def can Handle their offense only person that worrys me on that team is Gates because we have had trouble covering TE all year

Minneosta if we can get a lead on them then we should be able to beat them because Farve always make bad throws when down Minneosta Def will is solid against the run but they have a suspect Pass Def So if we get are pass offense going then we should win Stopping AP will be the key to this game

I can see us winning the Next 5 Games as long as we can get are passing Offense going and we also stay stout on Def

Hoping we rush for about 200 yards and get some passing TD's. These games suck when you're actually a good team, you've got way more to lose than you have to win.

Pretty ugly first half even though were up by 10. Would like to see us run the ball a little more n cut down on the penalties.

A lot of these penalties seem kind of bogus. I don't know though, either way we need to stop committing them.

I think we'll run more in the second half, protect our lead with good clock control and hopefully get the TE's a little more involved in the passing game. I've seen Foschi open quite a lot in this first half.

P.S. did anyone else notice both team's opening drives? They were very similar.

DET:
1) 12 yard pass from stafford.

3) Stafford incomplete pass.
4) Stafford scrambles for 4 yards.
5) Punt

CIN:
1) 11 yard pass from Palmer.
2) Palmer incomplete pass.
3) Benson -4 yard run.
4) Palmer incomplete pass.
5) Punt

I was thinking "wow, that's like the definition of playing down to the level of your opponent".

Hopefully we run away with this in the 2nd half.

With a Baltimore loss tomorrow night, we're 1 win away from clinching the AFCN.

Tired of seeing them play to the level of the competition. Next week will be a nice change to see them play against a solid team.

What happened to are OL they are Horriable now Last serval games they have looked really bad. Especially Whitworth. Can we start Andre Smith now. I am really sick of Penalties. The Holding and False Starts Delay of games are killing this football team if we dont clean them up we will not beat Minneosta or San Diego and we will not win in the playoffs if we play like this on Offense and shoot ourselves in the Foot

Wanted to add how spectacular Peko is for our run D. It wasn't shocking to see them running well early on with him out of there. Peko is one of the best DT's in the league.

Update on the defensive stats

Scoring: 1st
Total Yards: 4th
Rushing: 2nd
Passing: 13th
