Meh. Brees should have been a first-teamer imo. At least Jahri Evans is starting to get recognized for the beast that he is.

Anyone else surprised that there weren't more unanimous votes? I mean Patrick Willis, come on. One of Darrelle Revis or Charles Woodson, if not both, should have been unanimous. I really don't see how you can vote any other CB in over those two as a respected writer.

To the Patriots for Kevin Faulk, Matt Light, BenJarvus Green-Ellis, and a couple late round picks. You can never have too many former Patriots...or running backs.

Ray Rizzzzzzzle!!!!! Second Team RB! I remember in the Buy or Sell thread, a lot of people were selling on him getting a 1000 yards. Possibly the most well -rounded RB in the league right now.

AP All-Pro/All-American Teams usually suck but this one is solid.

Really? I usually find them very accurate, at least compared to the pro bowl.

Jonathan Babineaux: 47 Tackles, 6 sacks, 2 Forced Fumbles, 9 tackles for loss
Darnell Dockett: 51 Tackles, 7 sacks, 1 int, 9 tackles for loss
Kevin Williams: 30 Tackles, 6 sacks, 1 Forced Fumbles, 4 tackles for loss

After losing their other starting DT, the Falcons still managed to finish 10th against the run, based on a large part by Babineaux. Oh well...
If anything these stats show that Dockett should have been on the first team. I only saw Williams play in 2 or 3 games but I didn't come away overly impressed (most notably the Cardinals game).

Alright, but the Patriot's are going to have to throw in one of those "hang in there kitty" posters signed by Bill Belichick. Preferably with a hoody photoshoped onto the cat.

Jermichael Finley as next year's TE rep for first team all-pro. Heard it here first. I definitely think he can do what Davis did this year. Yes, I'm also implying Davis deserved it this year.

Yeah, he's thinking way too high. He needs to think more along the lines of that Hoyer kid and the corpse of Junior Seau. Maybe we'll throw in a 2nd rounder to even it up.

But we're getting ahead of ourselves, we haven't even traded Brandon Marshall yet.

This is the All Pro list though. And I don't think Jason Witten deserved to be on the All Pro list this year. He only had two touchdowns.

Didn't Revis and Woodson get 48 each as well? I can totally see a few guys giving Nnamdi the vote over either of them and that's all it takes to ruin the perfection.

Team looks good enough. Not sure Hutch deserved it this year but I can't think of anyone else that should go ahead clearly so it's not a huge one. Allen is lucky that the 3-4 backers go voted as backers and not ends or he had no chance. KWill is probably lucky, he had a down year. AP is deserving, though also had a down year.

Peterson had a down year? There isn't much more you can ask from a running back when he gets over 1300 yards, averages 4.4 yards per carry, and gets 18 touchdowns.

Most running backs would love to have the season he had, but 4.4 YPC is a down year for him.

Most running backs would love to have the season he had, but 4.4 YPC is a down year for him.
Don't be surprised if that number slightly drops...or if he never reaches 4.8 YPC again. What is a "non down year" for you personally?

Statistically this was his worst year and watching him he was no where near as dangerous by year end he has become a plodder as much as anything, just isn't flashing that big play ability.

So yeah, it's a down year for him. He also had a remarkable amount of fumbles lost and not in a good way. My biggest concern is that he is on a downward trend.

A year in which you play to your potential is a "non down year." Peterson didn't do that this year.
