Or more likely Russell Okung. That's the only offensive player I see Pioli taking that high, I think he will wait til the 2nd or 3rd to get a complement for Bowe. Someone like Golden Tate.

Jahri Evans will get the highest tender I'm hearing.

Though we tend to lackdepth, except at RB and DB.

Go look at the Seahawks depth chart. They tend to lack QB, O-Line, WRs, secondary, and defensive line.
They do have hundreds of linebackers though...!

I get excited about every year about free agents even though we never make a move thinking every year we'll actually do something.

Decision to cut Thomas Jones doesn't sit well in Jets' locker room
"I can tell you, it's not going to be a popular move in the locker room," the New York Daily News quotes one unnamed player as saying. "We loved T.J. The man loved the game and put it all on the line only to get dumped after his best season. I think you should reward players for performance. You dump him but give Vernon [Gholston] another shot? Doesn't make sense."
Said offensive lineman Brandon Moore, "A passionate guy like that, with the intensity he brought at certain points in the game, it ignited sparks in everybody. You would've liked to have kept a guy like that."
And offensive lineman Damien Woody added, "Some players bring things to the table that you can't put a price on, and T.J. is one of those guys."

Pretty much my thoughts the guy is solid every where he goes but never gets looked at as "the guy" by the powers that be.

I love how an unnamed player called out Gholston. I wonder who that was.

My guess would be either Bart Scott or Calvin Pace. Those guys like to talk. Alot.

Thomas Jones is a perfect fit for the Bill Belichick, veteran RB carousel program.
The Bears would really be . . . odd. Not that it won't happen, but it would seem strange for him to go back there. But they will have to be very active in free agency since they don't have a 1st or 2nd this year.

Yea but typically, especially with Bart Scott, they don't care about going unnamed, they'll come out and say what they feel and don't have to be anonymous. Makes me think it was someone else.

True. Maybe it is an offensive player?

Da Bears tampering? Chit chat is the claim. I'm not sure how you prove that.

I bet it was Gholston trying to get his name in the paper since he can't on game day.

He was kidding, because people on here always and other places always give us CB/S/RB and don't realize all we have.
