Default Character of Atlanta propsects

One think we've done here in Atlanta is actually cares about character. And TD wants only high character guys to be drafted for this team. A look at every pick under the TD reign:

2008:
QB Matt Ryan - team captain for 2 years in college
LT Sam Baker - team captain for 2 years in college
MLB Curtis Lofton - leader on his college team
CB Chevis Jackson
WR Harry Douglas
S Thomas Decoud - team captain on his college team
MLB Robert James - team captain on his college team
DE Kroy Biermann - team captain on his college team
RB Thomas Brown
CB Wilrey Fontenot
TE Keith Zinger

11/11 were known as hard workers
10/11 were seniors
6/11 were team captains or leaders on their college team
0/11 had character issues

2009:
DT Peria Jerry - Team Leader on his college team
SS William Moore - Team Captain on his college team
CB Christopher Owens
DE Lawrence Sidbury - Team leader on his college team
CB William Middleton
OT Garrett Reynolds
LB Spencer Adkins
DT Vance Walker - Team Leader on his college team

8/8 were known as hard workers
8/8 were seniors
4/8 were team captains or leaders on their college team
0/8 had character issues

2010:
TE Tony Gonzalez - not a pick, but traded a pick for the best TE ever and one hell of a leader.

Summary of his 2 drafts so far:
19/19 were known as hard workers
18/19 were seniors
10/19 were team captains or leaders on their college team
0/19 had character issues

so when looking at prospects, it makes more sense to look at guys who are known leaders and captains on their teams. But we are for sure drafting known hard workers, with a huge lean towards a senior, and a huge lean towards needs in the first 3 rounds. This tells us what kind of character we need and will draft here.

We are looking at the following in a players character:
1) Hard working on and off the field
2) no character issues at all
3) Maturity. The high % of seniors tells me this. (95%)
4) Leadership. while not essential, would be nice to have.

then again, this is all based on 2 draft classes and only 19 players to base data off of.

Default

just did some more research... Atlanta Falcons draft picks from the past 2 years have combined for ZERO arrests before getting drafted. so no Everson Griffen or Sergio Kindle here.
