Westbrook.

Westy's issues are health related. He still has athleticism but he just can't stay healthy.

LDT is completely washed up. There is nothing left in that tank. Which is amazing, bc he did everything in his power to keep his longevity. Didn't run in the PS, didn't take big hits as a runner by ducking and dashing, yet he still hit the wall relatively early.

Just shows you that it can happen to anyone.

Who has more left in the tank? Westbrook. Who is going to breakdown before they're able to use what's left in the tank? Westbrook. Westy was productive this season and he at least has a little gas in the tank but there is no way he is able to stay healthy, those concussions really made him slow his game down and his knee is bone on bone, plus he has ankle problems as well.

Westbrook could still be a monster from scrimmage. Would look good in a colts uniform

Jamal Lewis.

LOL

in all honesty I would love it if the Browns got Westbrook/Mcnabb.

I don't think either has anything left.

LT was second rate back who has lost more than step. I'd be surprised if he gets a gig this year. I would be shocked if he does anything after getting a gig. He is done.

Westbrook is soft, has never been able to play with any sort of pain or play through injuries. He is good for maybe 8 games a year and as he gets older he seems to find new injuries and ailments. I expect someone will give him a shot, I expect he will probably do pretty well in the first couple of games then will play a couple more games. You just can't have him as a guy you depend on, maybe a team like the Pats takes a shot on him on the theory that he is a luxury and not a need(like they have in the past) but any team that looks on him to give them a full season of production is dreaming at this point.

I guess in that regard, Westbrook has more left in the tank.

Westbrook. It's Fred Taylor syndrome: he's missed so many games due to injuries that it will actually help extend his career into his 30s.

Westbrook was effective when not injured. Aslong as he can produce when healthy he still has value. Not as a #1 back, still worth it how much he helps when he's playing. At the least he could be a very good 3rd down back for many teams.

LT is finished even when healthy.

This, except he could stay healthy, I'd just put the odds at 10%-25%. Over/under 200 touches in 2010 - about 10 rushes 2 catches per game.

I'd sign Tomlinson, give him a low load the first half of the season and then maybe give him a bunch of carries as the season wears on. He'll be a man on a mission to try to win a ring.

Interesting that Tomlinson is winning on the NFL poll but losing here. It's obvious both have their weakness at this point and if a team is has an equal opportunity at both players I highly doubt they could be sure of which one would be better for their franchise.

I personally voted for Tomlinson only because I believe he could be used more often than westbrook.

I voted for Westbrook because neither will likely have a full time role, and I think Westbrook could really flourish in a third down type role still.

How? In 8 seasons he has never played 16 games. He has missed 21 games over his career, that's nearly a season and a half. Not to mention it has gotten worse in the last couple of years.

Not saying he isn't an excellent player and very productive when he plays. But he misses a lot of games and he misses time in games, which is probably worse than the games themselves.

IF Westbrook was healthy he could be elite for a team. Hell of an IF though, given his track record it is very unlikely. I wouldn't be too against giving him a shot to replace Chester Taylor, he could be a very good compliment to Peterson.

BUT I completely stand by my original comment that he is injury prone and has struggled to play through pain and injuries.

I think LT has more left..
Westbrook was dynamic when he was younger, and healthy.
I think he should retire..
LT will use being cut as motivation and I think he'll do work on a playoff team.
and his #1 landing spot, IMO, New England.

Eh...maybe in a Marcus Allen type of role. Short yardage and goalline only.

Westbrook is still dynamic - he averaged 4.5 yards a pop this year still.

I said LT. Westbrook's health concerns, especially the concussions, to me mean he doesn't have much left in the tank.

I went with Westbrook. I could definitely see him having another productive 3-4 seasons as a 3rd down type of back.

Assuming Minny loses Chester Taylor, it would scare me as a Bears fan if they brought in Westbrook as the 3rd down back replacement....pair him with AP and you've got a scary looking backfield.
