Mild interest in DeJesus and LaHair.
We need a LH bat.
So even if he is Garrett JonesII he wouldnt be more than a bench player but he would likely cost too much for that.

Just saying the truth. He was a great player during his prime, but his insane length helped him accumulate stats. Plus, he was never as good as Johnny Bench or Joe Morgan.

Rose played on a team with so many great players, he never stuck at any one spot. Had he done that he would have been.
Batman sucks.

From watching Harper this season - he is an electric presence. My comparison to Pete Rose was in the way he plays the game - Harper hustles all the time and plays the game all out. That is how I was comparing them - his approach to the game.
I was expecting Harper to come into the big leagues with a big ego and entitlement mentality but he has been just the opposite. With everyone hyping him up he could of bought into it all but instead he just plays every game hard and remains humble, grounded and a team guy. These are just my observations from being in the DC market so I watch a lot of Nats games.
I have not seen much of Trout but he really has a chance to be great as well. He is a 5 tool player. Can't go wrong with either one. Harper receives a lot more hype than Trout ever did. It is really amazing to see a 19 year old and 20 year old take the Majors by storm like Trout and Harper are doing this season though.

Anytime Sabean wants to give the Pirates Belt, we are more than happy to take him.

Saying he's not as good as Bench or Morgan is like saying hes not as good as God or Jesus. Uh oh. -There's also something to be said for longevity, especially given his style of play.

I said he was great, just not an all time great. May be I overexaggerated the Bryce thing though, I apologize for that.
