Lincoln's inning cannot be talked about enough. That's a huge showing for him.

Its criminal the lack of attention McCutchen gets from the media. Dude is on pace for an easy 30/30 season with a BA well over .300 and an OBP% over .400 and yet we barely hear a peep about him

It's because he plays for the Pirates. God forbid ESPN talk about anyone but the Yankees, Rangers, Red Sox, Mets.

Because it doesn't hurt they haven't been relevant in 20 years... or anything but a Major League farm team during that time.

ESPN talks about the Mets a lot? We didn't even have a Sunday night game scheduled this year.

I just threw teams out. Figured Mets since they're in New York. I rarely watch ESPN in the morning. I know MLB Network talks about Cutch and the Pirates a bit.

Well I watch MLB Network for all my baseball needs so I wouldnt know much either. I hate Baseball Tonight and the only thing good about Sunday Night Baseball is Orel.

I second this. Good riddance. We should buy Scott Mathieson back from Japan, he can't possibly be this bad.

If you told me that the Pirates would win with Cutch going 0-5 I wouldn't believe you.

It took Joey Votto winning the MVP and followed by another really good season to get regular mention.
Im pretty sure re-signing him long term killed ESPN a little inside.

They've adopted the Jim Tracy strategy.

was pitching on 3 days rest, the umpire was really squeezing him, should of got out of the 3rd unscathed(30 or so pitch inning), nothing he could do about the 4th though lead off 2b, bunt, sac fly

Two questions:
1) Which NL outfielder doesn't star the AS game? Braun, CarGo, McCutchen, or Beltran?
2) What are the Mets going to do with Wilmer Flores? Ruben Tejada absolutely looks like a ten-year SS.

Bumgarner gets a 1 hit shut out. Giants have gone 4 straight games without giving up a run (even without Cain in any of the games). Also pass the Dodgers for 1st place today.
Life is good.

You're list is wrong. Gonzalez has a 0% chance, and McCutchin has a 2% chance. Agree with it or not, that's how the voting is. Those two will still make the team as reserves though.
Matt Kemp has a firm stronghold on the #1 OF spot, but the other two are down to Beltran, Braun, and Melkey Cabrera. All three will start since Kemp won't play, so it's really a matter of who's truly voted in between Braun and Cabrera. I think that Braun keeps his lead and make it 5 consecutive all star starts.

Wilmer Flores would never be a SS in the major leagues. He's played almost 3B exclusively this year with a couple games at second but he's not a middle infielder. His ideal position is 3B and a lot of people doubt if he could play the outfield but we'll have to see.
