Yes he's improved from prior to 2010 but he's not hitting in the high .300's this year. His BA is going to come down significantly. I'll give you the better contact now that you changed that since his LD% is up a bit. Anyway like I said I guarantee you his overall line will be very close to last year when the the season is completed.

I think his average ends up around .330. He might slump a bit, but he will probably get hour again late in the year.
I'd predict around .315 next year.

Johnny Cueto is now filing a grievence with the players association for not being named to the All Star team...and the Cardinals are the whiners....
The moron prolly doesn't know the other players also snubbed him. It was not just Tony LaRussa.

i can't wait for the indians to make another ill-advised trade at the deadline to help their "playoff run" with their -40 run differential; maybe they will be good in 2022 after they hit bottom again in a few years and realize this current rebuilding phase was a complete failure

That's just hilarious. One of the mores childish things I've herd of an athlete doing, and that's saying quite a lot these days.

He probably has a bonus in his contract that he gets paid extra money if named to the team. He wants his money.

That makes sense, should have thought of that. In that case, I wouldn't blame him at all, can never have enough money.

He won't win, not with CHipper on the ballot + Freese on there. Harper's reputation(even though he hasn't done a thing yet in the majors) is that he's a huge douche bag. He won't get the votes
MLB released a leaderboard this morning and Harper is 3rd behind Chipper and Freese.

All-Star rosters are a home anyway with how big the rosters are...
Also, Cano is a chode for not picking Butler (especially after saying he would). If the host team has a power hitter, he should automatically be in the derby.

I honestly think there is a good chance Cano has no idea who Butler is. I was hoping to see Granderson but oh well.

Butler is not a power hitter either. MooseTacos would have made more sense.
Also, Sandy egging on Giants fans:

ASG election of "Kung Fu Panda" shows the value of a cute nickname. Surprised Giants fans didn't elect a "ball dude" to start at 3B.

This. He knows, and everyone else knows he should have made the team and wants his bonus. Good for him. He isn't making HUGE baseball money.

The butthurt is strong in NY. They're getting trolled big time lol.
The truth is that NY Mets fans didn't support Wright enough. For such a huge market, they should have never allowed anyone else to win that vote. Shame on them.

It's funny because everyone thinks NY has the biggest homers but it's quite the opposite. Anyway you know damn well some fan wrote a program to hack the vote. Either that or the SF area isn't as fun as I heard and you have a lot of fat asses voting.

Makes sense.
Cincinnati is smaller market and really only Votto has national exposure. So it makes sense BP didn't win the fan vote IMO. But he should have been in the final vote or picked by a manager.

Also, Brian Fuentes got DFA and I could see the Mets being interested.

The All-Star game is a joke. I don't take any decisions regarding the rosters with any degree of seriousness. They mean nothing in terms of player evaluation and citing All-Star appearances as an indicator of talent is just mentally challenged because the r-word is banned for some r-word reason.
