I was also really confused by that. Players with bad eyes don't have walk rates like Dunn's.

Early on, he was incredibly painful to watch.
He got better, then he got worse, then got better again.
He is also incredibly lazy and I am sure the reason he is so patient is that he doesnt wanna hit a ball the opposite way for a double and run the bases hard when he could wait for a pitch to pull out and jog.

I hope so. Id include him in a package for a true leadoff hitter or clean up guy.

Cincy should have given up something to get Michael Bourn. God knows it wouldnt have been hard to beat ATL's offer.

He's always been incredibly patient, though. And Stubbs eye isn't THAT bad, it's not like he's Delmon Young.

You mean in his first year when he had a .400 OBP and walked 128 times?

Ya, Dunn's problem isn't that he has a bad eye for pitches, it's that he can't hit a ******* baseball. All he does is swing for the fences.
Three true outcomes.

Is not. Trying watching Delmon Young every day, or Brennan Boesch.

I dont think ive ever seen anyone swing at the first pitch more than Delmon Young. Its like every AB, every night, every season.

I hate him. Xio texting me that we acquired him while I was in line for a rollercoaster was a horrible, horrible moment in my life.

What the hell is this Dodgers lineup? Bobby Abreu is by far their best hitter, and he sucks at this point. Somehow they're destroying Mike Leake, but jeez.

This is going to be very sad when Aaron Harang shuts out the Reds.

Cards bullpen actually pitching well in the last 5 games. And yes I know it's just 5 games but when your Bullpen era is 4.78 and 29th in the league before that, you get excited about that small sample size!
14.2 IP, 2 runs, 1.23 ERA.
Also, Matt Holliday with a 3/4 night. Now hitting .517 in his last 17 games.
.319 BA, 14 HRs, 54 RBIs, .399 OBP
Cardinals have 4 players on pace for 90+ RBIs. Would be 5 if Craig played in more games. Has 43 RBIs in 42 games played.

I'm really hoping that A-Jax ends up in the ASG. He deserves it.

Trevor Rosenthal needs to be on that list. And Oscar Taveras is waay to low. 2nd best hitter in the Minors behind Profar.

Yes it's not close.
Myers is killing AAA with better numbers than Oscar in AA.

He's also two years older then Taveras, who just started developing his power this season.
