Of course I benched Cueto tonight since he's been terrible so far.

Great comeback from the Mets tonight. Chris Carter with a huge 2B in his 1st AB as a Met.

Who cares? We were up 8-0. Dusty probably did it to give Rolen a little bit of rest.

Yea, for once I actually agree with Dusty. You're up 8-0 and you pull a guy with injury history that is getting older. For once not a dumb move.

Considering the Game Cueto was throwing, you leave your best defense in to make sure he gets that 1 hitter. Huge for his confidence.

Padres have stranded 15 runners thru 7 innings. That's 6 short of the maximum. ******* incredible.

I think it might be time to move Iwamura down the lineup.

Orlando Cabrera isn't exactly an ideal leadoff hitter either.

But he has the veteran leader quality...
We actually have a leadoff hitter in Drew Stubbs if he can get his **** together. But until then, we dont really have one .

So how long do the pirates go before trading one of their starters?

I would say that Zach Duke would be the one to go, but I don't know who would want him at this point.

Look on the bright side Hines. After the upcoming draft in a few weeks, you can start looking at next year's top 3 prospects.

Dare I say Delmon Young might not be terrible anymore?

I just want John Russell, Aki, Jeff Clement, and the Nutting family out of Pittsburgh now. Bring up Alvarez, Tabata, Lincoln, Neil Walker and go from there. If they lose, then at least they're losing with their future.
I wished Mark Cuban and/or Mario Lemiuex and his team would just give the Nutting family a shitwad of cash and be done with it. At least I know they would try to bring a winner to the town of Pittsburgh.
