Dickey will be missed. Underrated part of his game is his defense and pick off move. Guy does it all.

I love his tempo. His pick off on De Aza was lovely.

Only Joe Torre would have Bloomquist in at 3B in team USA's biggest game

Why was Willie Ballgame playing over Ben Zobrist?

Who cares? Willie Ballgame is garbage, Ben Zobrist is a top 30 player.

There was this fantastic image a few years back of Bloomquist getting tagged out at second. There was a line of measurement between Bloomquist and the bag and it said "SABERMETICS FINALLY MEASURES WILlIE BLOOMQUIST'S VALUE". I wish I could find it.

Another disappointing showing in the WBC.
I know the best of the best in MLB are obviously not ALL American, but geez.

We don't even send our best players but yeah it's disappointing. I don't understand why we suck so much at it. I think it's because the players we do send don't care nearly as much as the other nations. Also Joe Torre.

Yasiel Puig has been killing it. He has the potential to be a monster.

There is just no way he plays as badly as he did last season. I don't know what that was, but he is one of the most talented players in the majors.

I've said this for the past 3 years, but this is going to be the year I try to really get into baseball. The Yankees will blow, so I should be able to focus a good deal of time watching some other teams. No excuses.

He was hurt. The Braves robbed him from Towers.

Hanley out two months after the Dodgers didn't want him to play 3B in the WBC. Ouch.
