he was fantastic tonight... 9 ip, 9 k's, only 103 pitches for a complete game

Mets fans: what is Beltran's return timetable looking like? I've read nothing until after the All Star Break, but don't know how he's supposedly progressing. Have you guys heard/read anything about how he's doing?

I picked him up off waivers in my NL only league and have a DL spot to stash him on, so I figured why not.

Haha. The pitching and defense teams aren't off to great starts. One can't hit at all (Mariners), and the other found out that their pitching and defense isn't that great (the Red Sox). Although the Red Sox pitching will come around, don't think their defense will though.

Dodgers should trade for either Roy Oswalt or Cliff Lee this summer, we need an Ace to take the pressure off our young starters & Kuroda, but this trade will not get done because Colletti is always hasn't not to part with top minor league talent, which we would have to do to get either guy, hopefully we can make some compromise

I agree. Would love to have a guy like Lee at the top of our rotation, however like you said it almost seems to go against what we usually do. Kershaw will eventually be a number 1 but he is still very young and needs to continue to get better.
