I wouldn't be sir prized if he passed McCoy on the depth chart. I think he might have a better arm and accurate arm then him from the highlights I thought. He also got some wheels too help us prepare for QB's as Wilson , RG3 and other runners etc.
Well it seemed like Farrell did act like this was an elimination game and I agree he needs to continue to do so.
I don't think I finished my post. I really meant "greater sense of urgency at the plate." I love how patient the Red Sox are, but for the majority of the game, they were operating with 0-1 counts pretty much the whole game. Sanchez and the relievers were leaving some meatballs over the plate on the first pitch, and the Red Sox just let it go.
I'm thinking I'd like to see Xander start over Stephen Drew in Game 6. Drew's been ice cold and his defense isn't making up for it. Xander's had a good, consistent bat. Use Drew to pinch run/defensive replacement and let's see if they can get something going with Xander and Middlebrooks in the lineup together.
