David Wright pushed Nyjer Morgan off of second base and Morgan got called out. Morgan was pretty pissed. Hahaha.

Why was David Wright covering second base?

Shift for Dunn.
EDIT: El Duque just signed by the Nats. Awesome.

What an amazing performance by Philly tonight against a future Cy Young winner. This reminded me of when Tim Redding was a Nat (and for a time with NYM I think) and just destroyed the Phils.

I'm not sure which is worse, getting shut out by Ross Ohlendorf or allowing Jamie Moyer to get 8 strikeouts.

Ross isn't THAT bad of a pitcher. He's been hurt and didn't pitch well in the begining of the year, and is now starting to hit his groove.

Yeah you're right, allowing Moyer to get 8 strikeouts is much worse. On that same basic topic, what in the hell happened to Ryan Howard's patience?

Mike Redmond hit what should have been a single with the bases loaded and two outs in the A's-Indians game tonight. Too bad he got thrown out going to 1st so the run didn't count. That was pretty damn funny.

Jaime Garcia is such a stud. It's a shame he won't be in the All-Star game.

Reds released Harang.
Darryl Harang. But a Harang none the less.

Once he stopped being a temp, it was all downhill for Ryan.
Ohlendorf is certainly talented but I still wouldn't expect him to shut down the Phillies. Then again, I think I am overrating the Phillies "offense". Victorino can't hit righties, Sardinha/Dobbs/Valdez (though Wilson hasn't been too shabby, surprisingly) aren't major offensive threats in many categories, Rollins hasn't found his groove quite yet and Ben Francisco was playing. Or maybe I just am comparing Ohlendorf to guys like Bullington who he certainly is not (ya know, since he has more than 0 wins).
I'm personally shocked the way things have gone that the Phils are above .500. Still plenty of season left but they need to stabilize. When the majority of the run scoring has come from the bats of Sardinha, Schneider and Valdez the past week; you can't expect much.
