So the Mariners turned 3 decentish prospects at best into a couple of months of Cliff Lee, a franchise cornerstone at 1st, a solid middle of the rotation pitcher within the next year and a couple of decent prospects. Good job.

Mike Leake is a ball player.
46 pitches through 5IP.
He also has 2 hits. His BA is now back up to a more respectable .371

Jesus Christ. The Pirates have the bases loaded with one out. Guess what? In three pitches they leave them stranded. So ******* pathetic. I'm so tired of this lazy ass hitting.

Justin Smoak for a half season of Cliff Lee? Texas needs to win the World Series to justify that.

Do you not remember the 2006 playoffs, where Kenny Rogers completely dominated in his three starts?!

Ugh.
Leake. 8 1/3 IP. 5 ER. 3 run HR in the bottom of 9.
One day Dusty will use defensive subs.

Cordero is the worst closer in baseball.
He should be taken out back and "Old Yellered"

Greg Dobbs and Cody Ransom = The New Bash Brothers. This is the first time in a while that I've seen the Phillies show some heart/intensity and the crowd is following. Hopefully this is a turning point.

Yeah seriously, a struggling closer and he swings at the first pitch?
