Quentin is up for arbitration next year, so it's not exactly a rental. If anything, Quentin would probably be replacing McLouth in the lineup. He played left field for the Sox in 08 and 09.

Bourn plays CF. I'd rather not move forward with Fukudome in CF every day. I value Bourn's speed at the lead off position, as well.

Prado is our LF. Mclouth is currently playing CF, for the injured Schafer. If they get Quentin, they plan on moving Heyward down.

But Fukudome is a huge upgrade over McLouth and speed isn't that important, as long as the guy leading off gets on base. It's irrelevant, the Braves should just try to acquire Bourjos.

True...but I just want to end the search for a long term CF already, dammit. haha. And Bourn is absolutely perfect for the Braves. They've been looking for a Furcal lead off type since he left...it'd be great to have him
Bourjos would be a good addition. Although he's been slow to replicate any of his minor league numbers. I wish he was more selective.

Bourjos is as good as Andruw Jones defensively, that is all that matters.

Sorry Brody, but I just dont value defense like you do. Schafer is a gold glover caliber fielder as well. I could care less.
The Braves pitching is an exceptional defense in itself...we need bats.

Leyland ejected again ... sigh
This was so ******* unnecessary. He argued Ajax was hit by a pitch ... in the 3rd inning ... go **** yourself, Jim.

Gardner is exactly what you need. But you're gonna have to give me your pitching staff to get him :)

I'm aware, but the umps can't and won't overrule something like that.
It wasn't that obvious even on reply.
Pick your battles, Jim. It's the 3rd ******* inning.

I'm just throwing this out there, but I don't think Moustakas is ready.

Well, there's no reason to believe Lloyd McClendon isn't a better manager.

Imagine how much better life would be if we were in the Central.

Just a guess, but I bet David Purcey gets some death threats this week:

A single for Trumbo would be pretty awesome for my fantasy squad. Come on cycle!
