Prince Fielder makes the Blue Jays a legitimate contender for that insane division next year.

C: Arencibia/d'Arnaud if JP struggles
1B: Prince or Lind
2B: Hill (only real weakness)
SS: Yuni
3B: Lawrie
LF: Snider
CF: Rasmus
RF: Bautista
DH: Prince or Lind/Thames
Their rotation isn't the best, but the Yankees have CC and crap so I don't see why the Blue Jays couldn't succeed with Romero/Morrow/Mills/Cecil/whoever.

CC is going to milk the Yanks for a lot of extra money this offseason also.

Even though Dan Uggla won't break 56 (or even 33 I would guess), and I'm certain no one will, how awful would it be if baseball's most storied record went down to someone like him?
Analysts would go NUTS if that happened, could you imagine Bob Levy or Skip Bayless or hell, John Clayton?

That was entirely harder than it should have been to get a run there.

I hate having to set aside 7 hours every time I feel like watching a Yankees/Red Sox game.

You and me both, actually.
But yeah, **** Scutaro. You don't make mental errors against the Yankees. There's just not space for it.

Well, it's because ESPN is contractually obligated to talk about Jeter 618 times per game.

Well I would say the first player ever to reach 3,000 hits deserves some attention.

Did Jeter reach 3,000? I think I heard them mention that once or twice.

You guys are dicks. Do you know how many locker room speeches, high-fives he gives and how much he hustles?

Yankees know not to run on Reddick's arm now.

Russell Martin throws an absolute rocket to throw out Pedroia at second and Jeter gets every ounce of the credit from the announcers. Sounds about right.

Albers is dead to me. No excuse for giving up a dinger to Gardener. It's a shame since we had been on pretty good terms for a bit.

They took it easy on him to. Jacoby got the **** beaten out of him after those two walkoffs. Reddick didn't get it that bad.
Still, damn exciting week.
